Hungary vs Greece - [29th March] - Groupama Aréna

Key Points.

* If he can't be with the NT for whatever reason he thinks the coaches there are capable of doing the job. But this can't happen all the time "because if the cat's away you get mice".

* German scouts (agents) have called him to ask about Hungarian players. Pali says he doesn't say anything bad

* He says he's going to pick players who are in form and works the hardest because he hates losing and adores winning (yet he turned down a move to Bayern LOL).

Mainly he just went on and on about nothing.

My family lives in Munich. But they have several businesses there. My cousin's grandchildren actually go to Bayern games! I'm actually a little ashamed.

My other cousin's grandson (same family)...plays foci for Sopron He won the league in his class. I have photos of him in his Sopron kit with medals. His fave player is Neymar JR.
Of course, it wasn't going to be Dzsudzsák or Szalai LOL. So proud proud:

This is us when he was a baby!

I told him then to stick to your local team and not be a divat supporter.

I like how he talks during interviews from a journalist point of view. He's not afraid to mention that a question doesn't make much sence if this is the case.

He is also a great influence for the press and the team in Germany, not just Hungary. The German press has already started eating him up. Everyone is keen on a winner mentality.

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

Yup, the Germans are saying Dardai himself is more "Kemeny" then the club itself

Imagine he qualifies Hungary after almost 40 yrs, and brings Hertha way up too. He would officially be a hero for us.

He already is for Hertha for not leaving to Bayern. This year can indeed be a big year for him.

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

Right on!

Game prediction:

Hungary - Greece 2-0

Goals by Dzsudzsak and Gera

The rest of our group will be:

Norther Ireland - Finland 1-1

Romania - Faroe Island 2-0

And then we have to wait until June to play vs Finland in Finland. That one will be tough. We might also have a friendly in april or may .

So If it ends the way I predicted, We would have tied points with NI (10). We would be in 2nd because of goal difference, Romania would have 13 points and stay 1st, Finland would have 5 points and stay 4th. Then we play Finland away and Romania at home. I think we will beat Romania at home in a full packed stadium, finally get that win vs them. If we have no injuries or suspended key players, I see it happening.

I see us having a harder time with Finland away. But then again we always end up beating them. Thats the one decent team we always have luck with.

Vs Greece I would go:

--------------------------------Kiraly--------------------------
Fiola----------------Korcsmar-------Lang---------Kadar
---------------------------Tozser(Varga)---------------
Lovrencsics-------------------------------------------Dzsudzsak
--------------------------------Gera----------------------
-----------------Nikolics(Nemeth)---Szalai----------------

But I see this happening which I dont mind either:

---------------------------------Kiraly--------------------------
Fiola---------------------Foro-------Korcsmar--------Kadar
-----------------------Varga(elek)----Tozser--------
-----------------------------------Gera----------------
Stieber(Simon)------------------------------------------Dzsudzsak
---------------------------------Szalai----------------------------

This is probably the biggest game of the qualifiers for us. Win and we kill Greece's chances and basically secure at least 3rd. Lose and we're probably ****ed

My first thought is this is true, but if we beat Greece this time they'll be so unbelievably pissed off they lost to a team like us they'll come out flying in our last game. We'll obviously crumble under the pressure.

I like your optimistic style. I think we'll win this and a big fan turnout will probably be there. The more fans, the more energy to draw from when the boys are tired after the 70th minute. Gera's back which is a real plus, he makes things happen, the guy is magical and he's got plenty in the tank yet.

another reason to be optimista is the fact that I'll be there, and at least for home games, I have never been when we lost. ergo, minimum a döntetlen for sure.

Pozdrawiam

with Dárdai better than with the Miceburgis and Pinyös of the world

Otigba and Leo should be there, no doubt

Watched Otigba today and has really grown, especially his one-on-one game. Hungary would be stupid to let him go play for Nigeria. Definitely much better option than Lang.

It's up to what he wants to do now. He knows we want him, but seems like he's leaning towards Nigeria There's no reason we shouldn't call him up though.

Why are you guys so hung up on 3rd place? If our prediction is right, we'll be tied with NI on 2nd place. Do you maybe think they are a better team, or are we just scared of our recent history?
