WCQ: Turkey vs Hungary - March 26, 2012

This, just so that we don't forget that only four days after the Ro game, there is another key game, at which we have to get at least a draw!

Türkiye-Macaristan, on March 26, Tuesday.

Mitropa Cup (1927-1939)

BTW the Turkish association is only allowing Hungarian fans to bring Hungarian flags into the stadium. So nothing else, no writings or pictures just Hungarian flags. Democracy?

Let's beat the Turkish Nt! Onward and upward!

As I said before the qualis - and proved to be correct - that is an Nt ion a downward spiral. Let's get at least a draw, but aim for a win!

win this game but if they only draw it's not over..it completely eliminates Turkey. Then they have to win in Romania.

The ref is from Serbia? We're both fvcked then.

I'll be utterly shocked if Turkiye win this game. We are a very talented squad managed by an even more talented confidence trickster, who's fooled 75 million people into thinking he's a football coach. :shakepalm:

watched the replay of Andorra vs Turkey last night on sport2. Turkey didn't impress at all. in fact, Andorra had some nice chances, one of which a nice ziccer at 0-1. ok, truth be told, it's hard to impress against such teams like Andorra, so I guess this one wouldn't tell much about them in the first place, but still, I am confident now, especially after our performance on friday. it all depends once again on our defense and how much we will pull a Hungary or not in the last minutes.

surprised me a bit, but Turkey has only 6 Germans in their squad. plus one French and one Austrian/Swiss.

For those Magyars in the US, ESPN3 is once again showing the game at 2:30P EDT.

You will also be able to see the replay too. Only problem is you have some English bloke destroying everyone's names.

Should be available in Canada too I would think.

Its really great as this is the norm now. They even have the non-glamour games (which is how they can have us ) I watched the replay of the Romania game. My only criticism is they only show a list of the starting lineups and not the formations.
