I think more of an issue is the idea of starting a game with 4 attacking midfielders and 2 strikers. Who are we playing against? Accrington Stanley?

Won us a penalty. Tbh, you'd struggle to learn anything about a midfielder on that pitch other than how good they were at long balls.

Bruno Zuculini to City?

From the original source:

"Manchester City are understood to have beaten a number of top European clubs to the signing of 20-year-old, Racing Club midfielder, Bruno Zuculini. With his contract running down at the Avellaneda side where he started his career, City are believed to have wrapped up a deal for as little as £1.5 million.

With Zuculini holding an Italian passport the deal will not be disrupted by any work permit issues and although it is unclear whether the player will stay in Argentina for some more time, it appears City will have his signature.

A classy defensive midfielder, Zuculini has gone on to play 79 times for Racing since making his debut back in 2010. Comfortable on the ball and capable of bursting forward from deep, Zuculini has scored 10 times for the first team, including the opening goal in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Godoy Cruz.

His older brother, Franco was another of Racing’s youth products but is now playing in Spain for Real Zaragoza.

For the cut price it represents a good deal for Manchester City but with the depth of talent in their squad I would not expect him to be challenging for a first team place any time soon. Perhaps a deal that saw him continue to develop at Racing would be beneficial for the time being."

No, who would we replace him with for £20m? No point in selling him.

aguero16, please hide your love for the guy that helped you win two titles. It's oh so apparent.

its 25mill, and we have a fully fit jovetic now, plus we will be bringing back guidetti. our attack will be fine next year. Aguero, Negredo, Jovetic, Guidetti, Lopes plus the likes of Silva, Yaya and Nasri who can score plenty of goals.
we can only spend 48mill this summer due to FFPR and we desperately need to sign Mangala and a defensive mid. Mangala alone will cost 30mill, so that leaves only 18mill for a potential defensive mid. by selling dzeko for 25mill, that allows us to spend 43mill on a defensive mid and a RB.

well see what happens, but i definitely think pellegrini will sell dzeko, the guy is just not good enough, very clumsy, horrible first touch, slow and weak, gets pushed off the ball like a child

How can you be sure Jovetic will remain fit with his record?! And the fact is, Dzeko scores goals regularly. No matter what you say about his technical ability or how much he sulks on the pitch, he puts the ball in the back of the net, and you'd be crazy to dispense with such an outlet. Look at how Negredo suddenly lost form. It's good to have other options.

I'd keep him, but it would be tempting to cash in. It's the last time we're likely to get that sort of offer for him, as he'll only go down in value from now on. But since it's in the Daily Star, it's 100% bollocks. But let's face it Pellegrini has a record of getting strikers scoring and could probably replace him with someone cheaper and still get a lot of goals out of them. But personally, I think our forward line has a perfect balance atm, so why would you break up a good thing?

If we still had Tevez and Balotelli I'd have said sell him. If Negredo continued scoring all season I may have said the same, but with the fitness of Aguero and Jovetic in consideration Dzeko was the only one available all season.

Garcia to Zenit? You won't be happy about that, Dan.

We're linked with Nastasic. Is it certain that you're getting rid of him if you sign Mangala? How do you guys rate him?

He's placed as "at risk" due to UEFA squad restrictions but Demichelis only has 1-2 seasons left in him so it'd be absurd to sell a player who was rated the year before as the best young defender in the league.

What are the chances of Jovetic being sold? I'd say none considering that he has featured heavily in your pre-season but there are strong rumours coming out suggesting otherwise.

Any insight?

Absolutely zero chance. Everyone is hoping for big things from him this season.
