Sheva to join the MLS next January?

According to the following news report Sheva might sign for either the New York Redbulls or New England Revolution.
We shall see

Yeah, but of course, some people prefer to speak the British English over the American English. So it was quite understandable.

I don't know why he'd go to to New England. I bet he'd go to New York before the Revs.

In an ideal world he would join Beckham. That would be nice.

I think most teams would have trouble affording that sort of wage. Well, maybe LA could but that would probably mean getting rid of Donovan, plus this whole galacticos thing happening LA doesn't seem destined for success no matter how much money they spend. Of course, Alexi Lalas is probably the man that would lead them down that path.

RBNY already have Angel and Reyna as DPs, so I don't know if Sheva would join them unless they got rid of Reyna, plus they have Jozy (for now). NE might make sense. They are a popular team in a fairly big market and have been better than NY on the pitch for a bit. If he came to the Quakes as our DP...

This guy has turned into a complete tool and he would do absolutely nothing for the league, plus do you think the average US sports fan actually cares to go to an MLS game just to see Sheva? if it was a name like Ronaldo or Zidane then it would probably create a buzz in the media but Shevchenko... NO WAY!

He's struggling to get into the first team at Chelsea behind strikers like Didier Drogba, one of the best club sides with one of the best strikers in the world. I'm sure if he played for most other top-flight teams in Europe he'd be a hit. Even with Chelsea he has shown some flashes. I think this is the exact type of player that the MLS needs. Surely he is more recognizable than say, JPA? Plus, with the amount of Chelsea "fans" we have here in the States, I think he'd be a pretty big media hit. Sure, no Beckham, Ronaldo, or Zidane, but still significant. Not to mention I'd take him over any other MLS striker currently except maybe Angel.

Twellman-Shevchenko would be quite a formidable strike force
