Supposedly they're going to become Arsenal Colorado

Arsenal Colorado? is this 100% confirmed cause i cant find it on MLSnet or on there official website. Rapids had history behind it and i think is a better name then Arsenal i mean what is this are they gonna start to copy the EPL teams now? just glad Toronto FC were smart and didn't go with Inter Toronto.

nonsense, what does an Arsenal have to do with Colorado? These names would be OK if they made any sense

Houston 1836 made perfect sense but the Mex had problems with it, but since when was it ok to call it Dynamo Houston? they also pronounce Dynamo wrong all the time

Yeah exactly what does a communist type name like Dynamo had to do with Houston? seems to me like we have to be politically correct about everything now a days and make sure no one is offended soon i bet they will change the Redskins, Braves and Chiefs names as well.

St. John's University had to change their name to Red Storm, they were previously known as "Redmen"

even one of the local high schools here had to change their name, in my part of Jersey, the towns are either named after Dutch, English or Indian settlers, their name was Red Hawks or something like that but they had to change it to Wave or something stupid like that

It's not Dynamo Houston, it's Houston Dynamo.

A dynamo is a machine made up of many parts, much like Houston is made up of many ethnicities.

It's not meant to be a secret police team

The funny thing is that most of the Indians don't care about the names and some even said they were honored that teams used those names. They had an interview about this issue on channel one (a news channel in our school) about this back in 97 when the Cleveland Indians made the World Series and most of the people they interviewed were fine with the name so i'm not sure who complains about the team names.

I don't know if its exactly copying the EPL, but I definitely don't like that the name is there to make it sound more like a football/soccer club. There is also Arsenal de Sarandí in Argentina and Arsenal Kiev in Ukraine to name a few. Still, I like Colorado Rapids better.

Real Los Angeles

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Pelister Colorado would have made the most sense since they have mountains on Colorado.
