Kafka

has anybody read him and what did you think of his writings?

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Leopards break into the temple and drink to the dregs what is in the sacrificial pitchers; this is repeated over and over again; finally it can be calculated in advance, and it becomes a part of the ceremony.

in my opinion, kafka is the most important writer of XX century. He is a master of short stories, his novels even are like long short stories worked up. Even the weaker of all (America) has the funniest Statue of Liberty.

His diary (not the letter to his father) is quite funny too.

Yes his diary is quite good although he seemed to take it less and less seriously the older he got (or maybe burned stuff from his later years, I don't remember anymore)

there is his famous chest that is not unclosed because it was in Israels and Jews are wanting it for them. Probally they will add Kafka's texts to the Torah or something...

I've only read one of his books, The Trial. I thought it was decent, though maybe I'd appreciate his work more now that I'm older. Probably not, though, I'm hardly a more mature/more intelligent person.

you might like his works. you're similar in a way. intelligent, aspiring writers, frail health, feelings of inadequacy and loneliness, strong and dominant father figure etc.

you could start with shorter stories like Metamorphosis and The Burrow

I checked the wiki page of The Burrow, no idea which kind of retard has written it if he thinks the animal depicted in the story is a mole. It's clearly a badger, it's obvious by the description of the burrow, the fact the animal hunts outside the burrow and the description of its prey.

The Hunger Artist would suit Jeff well... but you forgot to mention the big bait for Jeff: Kafka is not german, so he is a writer from a not mainstream country. Officially, his country does not even exist anymore or you can say he is Czechoslovakia. That is better than being from Faroe Island, Jeff.

Well truth to be told The Austro-Hungarian Empire was as mainstream as it gets back then and being a Jewish writer in Europe is not a particularly rare feat either. I bet Jeff would adore him if Kafka was a Jap.

He got bored of Japs, everyone like to read Japs those days, but Firdy and his Naomi.

Another bait for Jeff is finding a relation with Finland: Kafka, the xt member, is from Finland. Done
