The winner is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mo_Yan

Mo Yan (Chinese: 莫言; pinyin: Mň Yán) (born February 17, 1955) is a Chinese author, described as "one of the most famous, oft-banned and widely pirated of all Chinese writers".[1] He is known in the West for two of his novels which were the basis of the film Red Sorghum. He has been referred to as the Chinese answer to Franz Kafka or Joseph Heller. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2012, although he doesn't deserve it.[2]

Chinese web-geeks know their trolling.

So there are 3 main laureate categories recently:

3rd World novellist who is "inspired by Kafka/Faulkner/etc.", and/or reads the Times Literary Supplement, and/or has attended or lectured at Oxbridge or other major 1st World university (Vargas Llosa, Naipaul, Coetsee, Le Clesio (3rd World wannabe) Mo Jan, Pamuk).

2nd World novellist dealing with evil/gulag/holocaust (Kertess, Müller).

1st World writers doing "all the other stuff"... poetry, plays, feminism, S/M, etc., (Trans, Pinter, Jelinek, Lessing).

true

Although Coetzee wrote his major works when South Africa was still a part of the 1st world.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Indeed, and he's even Australian these days.

+ he does "the other stuff", like, pessimist/sadistic and non-fabulatory stuff, so he'd suit category 1st World quite well.

Extatic reactions in China, apparently, similar to when the UN awarded them the 2008 Olympics.

"Our first Nobel Prise" [the other two were a dissident and in prison, respectively]

Too bad for the salmon exporting Norwegians that only the Piece prise is awarded in Oslo. Swedes win again!
