The Millennium Trilogy - worth it?

I've recently got the last 2 books from a friend, and another is lending me the first one. I was a bit skeptical about them due to their titles, but everyone who's read them is giving me pretty good reviews. Just wanted your opinions. I still have Orham Pamuk's Snow to finish before I start them, which seems to be going on forever (I've finished quite a few others since I started reading it 3 months ago).

I haven't read them, but there's a thread about it in the Movie forum (dealing with the books as well, afaicr).

Not bigotting

You're not not going to enjoy the series, I'll put it that way.

I enjoyed the first one, easy read, addictive... a good story, typical best seller for relaxed reading. The last 2 were a waste of time for me.

Read the first one, thought it was excellent if a bit predictable, but had to leave the next too back in India

I wouldn't say it was predictable.

I read the book and enjoyed it, well it had me turning the pages. It took me a while to get into the storyline and to to get the hang of all the characters but once I did, I found myself reading into the early hours of the morning. I've bought the triolgy but just can't get myself to read the other two books.
