How many books do you read in 2007?

Just want to know how many books do you guys read in 2007. Also, let us know what was your favorite book in 2007.

Guess I have to go first:smileani: I just finished my military service in this November, so I didn't have much time to read books.

However, I read 69 books in 2007, that's almost 7 books per month. (I didnt include magazine or comic books) In January I read 14 books and in August onI read only 1 book.

My favorite book that I read in 2007 was Antonio Skarmeta's <El cartero de Neruda>(1985). A novel that inspired movie 'Il Postino'.

Second will be Alain de Botton's <Essays In Love>(1993) and third will be Japanese mystery novel writer Keigo Higashino's <Byakuyako>(1999) which means 'white night walking' in English.

We miss Guus Hiddink days... But we need to move on for better future.

About 3-4 books a month I think. Not sure in total though, but I know I read atleast 20 in the summer alone. In general this summer has upped my appetite for books considerably.

Its the year I discovered David Gemmell (about the 20 or so I read in the summer, almost all was his books), so I oughta say one of his books as his favourite, but I read Conn Igguldens Ghenghis Khan, Wolfs plain, exactly a year ago so one must say I enjoyed it the most.
