Albert Camus, goalkeeper

So i just read a small comment on abook about something camus said about football and ethics. I ask a friend and he told that actually camus was a goalkeeper and a great football fan, and that he has a book or at least an article about it. Anyone knows what this could be about - name of the book, etc.?

I found this in The Guardian:

Quote:
Goalkeeper for Algeria, Camus found the missing link between football and existentialism ("All I know most surely about morality and obligations, I owe to football").

I don't really remember that he wrote very much about football in The First Man (might be my bad memory though) but yeah, I've heard he was an active footballer in his youth and made the decision for writer's career only after a serious illness which kept him in hospital for a long time. There was a bit about football in The Plague too, where there was an outside hospital on a football stadium and one of the side characters was a footballer named Gonzalez (his physical description in the book was a bit similar to Raul Gonzalez actually p)

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim
