It is a great comic. I remember when I read it for the first time, about 11 years ago...

Kat: "JCam, you may quote me now, but you are quite wise".

Kat: "JCam knows, we do not doubt in him".

The topic has of course a place here in the Book forum, but politics are not allowed.

I am the circle and the circle is me.

Shall I then fear the tone
That breathes from world's unknown?
Surely these feverish aspirations there
Shall grasp their full desire,
And this unsettled fire
Burn calmly, brightly, in immortal air. - Felicia Hemans

It had a political comment and those are only allowed inthe Politics forum. Furthermore the comment was irrelevant to the discussion of the book.

Cat, generalization is bad. You just had to send an apologize about the Chinese because of that. We are forgiving to consider that as mistake or lack of care in the writing but just once. Do not do it again.
And when a Moderator - and gOD - tell you to not do something, please obey it. Do not try to sneaky the subject back disguised in any form. Give us some credit.

Maus is brilliant....but I've heard Art Spiegelman won't discuss it in interviews anymore. Shame. It addresses a lot of issues (which I won't go into), in particular, between the son and the father.
