The funny thing is that I have a bunch of ebooks and I haven't read them. When I find one, I think it will be useful but I never get around to reading them, I just forget about them.

As for reading off the screen, I like doing that. But not for too long. One ebook I read, I took a chapter at a time, when it gets over 30-50 pages, I prefer it on paper.

I don't like ebooks. I prefer the feel of a real book, cover and all.

It hurts my eyes if I have to read off a screen for a long time. But with a real book, I can have my reading pleasure anytime I wish.

I have no problem reading in the monitor, in fact I welcome it and do it a lot, since the internet give me possiblity of going after original versions otherwise harder to find here...
I do not have a problem, for more I find myself confortable with books, with the new formats...Books are more than just the object to me...

well it would be better for the environment to switch to electronic reading in a way. no more cutting trees for paper etc. and i think it would save space too, but like you guys have said, reading on a screen is not very comfortable. especially for the eyes but i think it has potencial.

im actually looking for good ebooks atm to put into my smartphone. anyone care to share?

Wouldn't that be very awkward to read? Depending on the format, you may not get it to adjust the linebreaks properly so you'll have to scroll sideways. But barring that, it's still a hell of a lot of scrolling on a small screen like that..

I want it on the smartphone so I can read it when I'm on public transportation. I don't like to read books in those occassions so that's the reason why I'm looking for ebooks

It's nothing for me. If I want to read a 'longer' text in need it printed. Otehrwise I find that I haven't understood any of it, when I'm done reading. I don't know why that is, but it certainly isn't really good for the enviroment :embarass:

That and like Jun-Lei said I love the feeling of a real book, just as I like shopping in a real bookshop

I can't figure out how to use any of the new technology, so it is best I don't even try an ebook. Plus, it'll probably give me a headache looking at a flickering screen that long... And I like that way books smell.

You know the scene it's very hum-drum
And my favorite song's entitled "Boredom"...

I own a small selection of ebooks, but most of them are sci-fi stuff. I read my ebooks on a PDA, I only need one hand to carry the device and to flip the pages so for me it's even better than a paperbook. The only problem is that the selection is much smaller than paperbooks, a lot of the books that I seek aren't available as ebooks.

Did Mourinho ask Bayern about you?

I don't know. If he had, they would probably have said that Ballack has no talent, but he aint shabby in the air.
