Caps win 4:3 in double overtime and take a 3:1 series lead. The winning goal was so bad too, Lundquist was going to cover the puck but Gaborik at the same time poorly cleared it right to a Capitals player

Caps are still my pick to lift the Stanley Cup, but great win for the Pens last night.

Damn Pens and damn 2nd OT I fell asleep during 2nd without seeing the winning goal ... this hockey and lack of sleep will kill me!!!

Anyhow, happy for both Pens and Caps.Nice comeback for C, but they've been 'coming from behind' all year long and it's working hehe.

Plus they have the huge Alex Ovechkin factor.

Caps won't win the Cup, teams like Detroit and Vancouver are way stronger.

This isn't true. Any team with Ovechkin in it is awesome.

Pens would have won it with Crosby and Malkin in, but they are not so too bad so sad...

Canucks have a good chance.

The choke job of the year by the Kings, that was embarrassing to watch. Sure, the Sharks have a lot of firepower but it's insane to concede five in a period in which you have led 4-0. Especially when your defence is usually quite reliable. The Penguins with a massive win, the defence, Fleury and secondary scoring is really making a difference. Nashville also failed when the pressure got to them in Game 4, they need some bounces so badly because it's a shame that have not only not a won a playoff series but haven't even gotten to game 7 in their history. But the Ducks have too much firepower and Rinne has been mediocre at best in the last three games.

They are yet to win a playoff series in less than seven games since they got Ovechkin. Haven't gotten past the second round either, IIRC. They really changed their style this year but we will see if they will be able to exorcise their demons. Could be rematch with Montreal, this could be awesome.

Agree with you about the Pens. Fleury is red hot right now.

Hopefully Crosby (he is a bit of a girl) can get fit. He could help them win it.

Amazing result for the Hawks last night, this could be an epic collapse by the Canucks if their DF don't get their stuff together.

Ovechkin is definitely awesome, guys, but the Caps' D is pretty suspect for me.

Hawks r in such an onrush and confident getting back from that dead ... hopefully will be 7th and will be crazy!!!
Looks like Canucks haven't been themselves in the last 2 games, some stupid penalties and short shifts and nah, i don't wanna blame Luongo he did his share of saves + Hawks had many great shooting chances, Hossa and Keith great and that killer instinct shared by all the team.

I guess Canucks had a state of mine like 'we'll do it easily' after the early wins so got too much relaxed losing control and celebrating too soon.

I expected Chicago to come out strong in Game 4 and win at home, but last night was just shocking from Vancouver. Now all the pressure is certainly on Luongo and the troops as they head back to Chi-town for Game 6.

The Hawks-Canucks series is incredible, this could be literally the choke job of the century if Vancouver ends up losing it. Keith is like the Keith of last year in those two games and then some. Bolland has somehow managed to neutralise the Sedins. Sharp and Hossa being on another line rather than one of them playing with Toews and Kane gives Chicago's coach more opportunities to get good matchups. Toews somehow has yet to score despite trying awfully hard all series long.

Montreal somehow managed to lose despite having long periods of pressure where they literally skated circles around Boston and had a chance almost every few seconds. Maybe they need to get back to being ultra-defensive. I love the intensity in this and the Chicago series, though, the teams really hate each other.

As I predicted, San Jose's firepower is turning out to be too much for LA to handle.

I haven't watched much of this series but the Caps's D has been quite great this season. As much as it hurts me to say it as Bruce Boudreau and some of their players really annoy me.

FFS. I could see the Gooins evening up the series, but not this. At least it was close again, but we need to put our stamp on game 6. Can't blame Price, but the other guys need to step it up. Hopefully being back in Montreal will help, but they'll need more than that. I just don't see these guys pulling off last season.
