Levski Sofia in Europa League

Congrats to Levski Sofia for advancing to the Europa League group stage, after last night's 2-1 win over AIK Stockholm. Since my club (Feyenoord Rotterdam) are out of the competition, I will be following Levski's progress.

Levski pulls Sporting (Lisbon), Lille, and Gent in Group C. Gent knocked out my Feyenoord in the qualifying round.

On a last-day transfer deal, Levski add another Feyenoorder to their squad: Andwele Slory, a quick winger. This makes three former Feyenoord players: Dustley Mulder and Serginho Greene being the other two.

Veselin Minev of Levski Sofia played in Bulgaria's 4-0 loss to England in Euro 2012 qualifying yesterday. Substituted in at right-back for Stanislav Manolev. Most of Bulgaria's players, of course, play outside Bulgaria.

Yeah, it helped that one of those Bulgarian teams bought 3 former players of the foreigner's favorite team.

UEFA Rankings for Domestic (National) Leagues
15 Greece League
16 Belgian League
17 Bulgarian League
18 Czech Republic League
19 Norway League

So, not too bad. Not as good as the Dutch league, of course.

I for one do not give a rat's ass about it anymore. It's a ****ing joke. A circus. Full of players who are more interested in partying until 6 a.m. at the glam locations with silicon whores around them instead in playing for their NT. Not to mention the politics of connection where you just need to know the right person to get into the squad - be it merely because you want to brag about it when partying with the whores or because they have to raise your value and sell you for more money. Mafiosi at the helm in the football federation and shit, low motivated players on the pitch. No thanx, I dont feel represented by these cvnts.

No problems. I am only following Levski in Europa League play because they have three former Feyenoorders in their squad and will face the team (Gent) that knocked Feyenoord out of this year's competition. I do realise that it seems odd for a foreigner to follow a team of which he knows nothing about.

Game 1, Group Stage: Levski - AA Gent
23' 0-1 Gent take the lead with a long-range strike from Azofetifa
43' 1-1 Levski strike from Joaozihno

Mulder at right back, Greene in midfield, could be the defensive midfield position. Slory? Don't know if he is on the bench or in the stands.

Now 1-2, Gent getting a goal early in the second half. Internet connection too slow....

59' 2-2, Dembele pulls one back for Levski

84' 3-2 Serginho Greene scores for Levski! Header on a free kick from Joaozihno.
-------------
Final Levski 3-2 AA Gent

Three points. Good.
Sporting (away) is beating Lille, so Levski and Sporting have 3 points.
Have to win at home, and draw on the road. Sporting is probably the class of this group, but Levski have a chance for 2nd.

That's what I like to see, some rivalry! Now we need some CSKA fans.
