Good ridance,I say! There are other left defenders that could play on this position for the NT.

Apparently, given that this game is won, the Bulgarian NT would have the paradox of scoring most points(25) in qualifiers ever and yet they wouldnt be enough for qualifying.

I didn't get this in any of our media.:undecide: I don't know where did you get it from. No point in showing fingers though, those things are very common when it comes to players sharing the same surename being in the same team at the same time.

Just came across the starting eleven and I happened to see that the misunderstanding called Tomasic is in there. The game was known to be pointless but feck that too,I say! I would much rather be watching England - Croatia that happens to be at the same time instead of that silly "Red-Blue" hybrid.

You would have to excuse him as his English may sometimes be misunderstood. Im pretty sure he meant the competence of the Slovenian journalists.

LOL, congrats .

Btw in retrospect of all the qualifiers, had we won the games vs albania we'd have been through, no matter the result in holland, to think how close we were to making it.. but i guess that's what separates the better from the half decent..

well things were going to be different, because romania was going to be motivated and Slovenia could have pulled an Isreal on us :rollani: .
Anyway at least we know there is some life in our NT.

Lets not cut them slack. They didnt qualify and that was known regardless of the last two games. At the end of the day, the team plays ugly football (as always), some of the players have no place there and the Romanians/Slovenians didnt seem that determined anyway, for one reason or another.

I know, but at the end of the day looking at stats it turned out to be a surprisingly close group, considering how we were playing most of the time.
