Belarus - Bulgaria

We're leading 1-0 now and i gotta say the team's playing a lot better. Only thing we're lacking so far is berbatov, who despite scoring a great goal missed some really easy chances. We actually look like we know what we're doing, the exclusion of tourists like yankovic and peev has played a part too.

i payed 5 euro to sportsfive and im watching it right now....
we are looking extremely good.
the coach really makes the difference as with hristo its like we were a man down with zoran jankovich and peev.

berbatov is simply out of this planet.
what a great goal he showed great balance and that volley that hit the post was special...
he missed the easy chance tho when he had so much space near the penalty spot and skied it high but we can forgive him for that.

we are alive and kicking...
if slovenia do us a favor today and romania drop points we will be in a terrific position to qualify.

nah he didnt miss that many chances.... i mean it is true he did miss them but he is looking very good and its simply that everyone always passes the ball to him and everything goes through him so he cant score all and he does get a lot of the ball tho compared with the albania game where he barely got it.

i think he is playing pretty good he did some great things and its the easy chances that he missed but im not too worried.

I HAVE faith in our team again tho which i lost after the albania game.

Yeah, the chance he made for himself and then struck the bar was awesome too. He needs to concentrate more and he'll be perfect.

This game is another proof that Stoichkov is the worst coach in the world.

Great performance, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed so much watching our NT play. Great teamwork, nice attacking moves, solid defence, and an outstanding Berbatov. if we keep this up, we have a chance to qualify.

yes i totally agree..

IF we play like this we can beat romania in october!!!!
up to than we need to win every single game and the game in holland is a bonus.
we can do it
but Stoilov MUST remain as coach.... i mean i am sure he can coach both levski and the NT if hiddink could do it with PSV and australia which is on the other side of the world why cant stoilov do it when he can just remain in the country.

You can watch almost all the games here. http://www.myp2p.eu/Weekdays.htm and on Sportifive/JumpTV, but the latter is not free.

When Berbatov decides to play the way he plays for his club and when there is actually somebody with a brain managing the team it seems we have chance against any team in the world. I just hope that Berbatov's next superb game will not be after 2 years.

This game makes me wonder... what if... we had changed Stoichkov after the draw vs Malta for example... what if ... we had not wasted 2 chances for this talented generation to go to big championship... what if... nah... lets not dream about the past when we can drool over the future. Congrats everybody for the great game and result. Full credit to Stanimir Stoilov.

I am sure Celta are willing to give us way more for the same thing, given how "successful" he's been there.

is stoilov going to remain as head coach of the NT after the wednesday game???
i think he should as he is a terrific coach THE ONLY negative i have against him is he never makes substutions.
he made like one in the 80th and one in the 90th yesterday i mean what was up with that????

I want him NOT to stay! I want him in Levski! There are other good options for the NT, there is no nearly as good option for Levski.

About your second question. In Levski he usually substitutes the forwards somewhere mid-second half. But he has adequate options. What adequate option do you have for Berbatov? Or Martin Petrov? None...

no but he can switch things around when the team is leading 2-0 and use a sub or 2 and give someone a run out.
i think he can coach both bulgaria and levski.
BULGARIA needs him!!
so does levski!!!

the next quals after the 2nd belarus one is in september so its after 3rd qual in CL and before the groups.
he can get someone to scout for him while he is coaching levski and when NT plays he doesnt really have to do anything in levski and someone can take over training.

gus hiddink did it with PSV and australia... it is POSSIBLE!!!
it would be so great if he can lead the team out in the Euros.

i dont think there are other alternatives????
who in bulgaria can take over???? give me ONE good name!!
and if we get a foreigner its a HUGE gamble.

http://www.levskifc.com/page.php?p=c...&t=show&tid=93 read this point of view...

about alternatives - Balakov comes to mind... he has no club at the moment and I think he has the wits and ... probably the balls to lead our team.

I do not think that managing both Levski and the NT is a good option longterm.

its not longerm its just until the euros.....
balakov may have the balls but i think stoilov is already proven but balakov has yet to prove himself (i dont think he is doing so hot in switzerland)

i read the thing on the levski website.
again it wasnt discussed doing both.
i really think its possible and i believe stoilov can do it.
