The quote is in Bulgarian meaning "Levski crushed beneath(?) the Hills".
The game was played in my home town of Plovdiv famous for its Seven Hills( a bit like Rome)

But we're a university! We have to have a library!" said Ridcully. "It adds tone. What sort of people would we be if we didn't go into the library?"

"Students," said Senior Wrangler morosely.

Not a bid .. .quite like Rome! Build as a city (there has been some villages long befor ethat) by Filip The Great and thus called Philipopolis! Flourished under Alexander teh Great an dlater on in Roman and Byzanthinian times. Changed its name also to Trimotncium, Paldin, Pulpudeva ... One of teh most important cities in teh 1st and 2nd Bulgarian kingdom. Its Turkisg name in teh Otoman Empire was Filibe. Two ancient Theaters, one pretty big and spectacular on of teh hills. Well kept old part of teh city with Otoman Style (mixed with local stuff) buidlings dated back from 18 and 19th century. I live (used to) in one of them!

PLOVDIV FOREVER!

Thanks Bono for this very informative and useful post

Actually for CSKA's last game this weekend against Chernomoretz there were only around 10 people at the stadium including the so-called 'Troicho' .Plus, there was a guy who was cursing the playesr all the time and you now how good the resonance is when the stadium is empty
BTW the situation from which Hristo Yanev scored was very similar to the one of the opener last night(Inter-Milan)

U R welcome Luba! Ppl shoudl knwo that as it is very important fo rteh history of teh world!

So, Gocheto Vassilev is back in business. I wonder what was the problem teh first time when they were talking about it, that wa snow overcome: the money he wants or teh number of games Chorni/Batkov have to buy! Or both! We all know what Vassilev demands befor etaking a team ... be it Levski or CSKA!
