Hello Bulgaria!!!

Well, a warm hell to everyone in and from Bulgaria but most importantly all the nice young ladies there... Bono filled me in a lot of juicy things about you ladies down there...

I want to know who are the Bulgarians in here. I already know that Bono is one ( ) and so is Lubacita (don't know how you would say Lubacita in Bulgarian tough... ) .

So what's up lately in Bulgaria? Was bored and wanted to expand my horizons by getting to know new people.

How about for starters to tell us about the basic to know about each of you and then, about Bulgaria. I hope that Bono is not going to tell me to look it up on an encyclopedia or geography book...:fero: I'm more interested in what makes the very characters of Bulgarians, what makes them "special" or typical if you will. Meaning, what are the things/traits/qualities/characteristics that set you guys apart and make you Bulgarian, apart from the obvious linguistic and historic event that has shaped the country. So again, I'm mainly interested in things that are not taught in schools and books about Bulgaria: the people and their characteristics.

So let's get to know each other and have fun.

P.S. You would be more than welcomed in the French forum as well anytime except Bono that is...:fero: (Just teasing you Comrade Bonobobitch)

Cheers.

Salut!
Sorry if I will disappoint you but there are no other ladies here (unfortunately of course)

So can we be sure that when you are bored you'll be coming to the BG Forum?

I never thought we are special !A very typical characteristic is that the Bulgarians,we,always rely on someone else to do the job we have to do.Well, sure there are a lot of exceptions!

We are said to be very hospitable and warm people, and also very hardworking.,and very intelligent as well .But that's just a myth.

Well,I will let Bono say the positive features

Seems I'm the third Bulgarian here all milanistas here
Well said Luba, I can only add that we are very passionate ppl and that is usually our greatest vice, cauz it affects our actions to some unreasonable degree. There is almost no Bulgarian who hasn't shown off his devilish side. But that's the charm here as well.
Bout the hospitality, it depends on the person, some tend to release worm feelings, some act arrogant, can't tell easily.

Next and very common trait of our characters is envy, and desire to perform actions in most cases against than in favor of something. As one of our greatest authors (Elin Pelin) wrote: "I don't wanna to be successful, I want my neighbour to be miserable." Sounds better when not translated, but it's good for final words anyway, I better stop humiliating my own kind

Thanks for the input guys and girls. Much appreciated.

"I don't wanna to be successful, I want my neighbour to be miserable."

Now, that's a novel thought to put it mildly... But I can see where this is coming from and where it's heading towards. Actually, you'd be surprised how many people feel that way too. It's unfortunately in human nature...:rollani:

Where's Bono? As always those lawyers from East Europe are everything but reliable, so think about those pseudo-ones...

I'm still waiting for you to tell me in detail all the juicy stuffs you once told me about Bulgaria...

Or are you "boycotting" my request as I still haven't posted the mega Bono laudadive thread in the Milan forum?

Cheers.

P.S. I'd like to learn Bulgarian as well. So who volunters to be my teacher? Anyone? Lubacita?

For starters, how do you say: "Hi, my name is. What's your name? How are you and other general conversation stuff. But also how do you say:I want to sue my lawyer.

Thank you Lubacita!

Tell me any other things I would need to learn in order to be able to lead a normal conversation with a lovely young Bulgarian lady...

Bono, the thread will come in due time...

Cheers.

i should have stayed there for longer but no time

no, i can't say much just the basics: Da, Ne, Zravei (?) and Blagodarya ofcourse.
mmmmm.....i can't remember much else

another thing about bulgarians u forgot to mention, quite similar to us nepalis, .. u shake your heads for yes and nod for no.

Agreed Giani on the girls part. Again, why do you think I even started this thread?

Is there any country in the world that doesn't try to lure visitors with the "we have the most beautiful women in the world" statement? I don't think so
