Blues players should take cuts.

It's not a mystery that Carlton underachieved in the last season But Ian Collins demands for players to take pay Cuts are definately not rediculous when you have a side who's just won the wooden spoon and is over a million dollars over the salary Cap then something simply does'nt add up.Just from two players alone Matthew allan and Anthony Koutoufides who should'nt be made scapegoats but these two should'nt be kicking up a fuss despite their injuries they've hardly sweat at all and they've collected handsome dividens.
Im sorry but if you expect the supporters to be loyal then I believe and most of the fans I'm sure would agree that the players should put their hands up and we know you have been handsomely rewarded it's time to put up.

Carlton should learn off Lazio. the only way they are going to paid is if they win games and win a cup. And at the moment, they are looking great.

So kouta etc...should all stop crying and play and remember whats important instead of money!

all these players unions have fu(ked up sport worldwide

look at soccer in europe? unsustainabble wagwes are crippling clubs, and even the ridiculous transfers of a few years ago are finished

the nsl, same sh!t the unions got into it and u have an average player wage of abt 40 grand a season thats ridiculous!!!

afl, gaspar.....we pay over 500 grand a season for a defender who cant kick!

if a player is injured why are they entitled to get full wage???? thats the biggest load of BS, ALL contracts should be performance based, Kouta is sitting on 1 mill a season and hes virtually played a handful of quality games this season, and whos to say next season he'll be any good?

That's right fellas when you have parasites of managers like Dave Allison around what can you do?If it was up to me Koutoufides would've been gone years ago for putting himself so far ahead in terms of money,Take your pick run through the AFL and see how many overpaid players there are.Shane Woewoedin may've been paid hansomely but whether he underperformed or not he still played very consistently.

If players were picked locally in all sports all around the world , I reckon there would be bigger crowds more heart in teams performances & clubs would be surviving !!
