Gary Moorcroft - Gawn.

Essendon delisted the little spanner. What a shame. Peter Vardy has still got the ginger sh1t's elbow hanging out the side of his head.

Sheeds reckons he'll get picked up by another club in the draft ... don't bank on it.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

Looks like Carlton will snap him up should he still be available late on in the draft this Sunday. With the Blues expected to enter the draft in the fourth round, they are hoping that no-one else drafts him so they can get some experience into their side.

The player that I didn't like was the player we signed.

This happened to me when Milam signed Rivaldo. He was the one played I didn't like and we ended up signing him.

Yeah I think Neale Daniher said that actually.

That was part of the reason obviously. He is a good player and is a replacement for Jeff Farmer. Given our loss of running players (Woewodin, McDonald, Rigoni & possibly Powell) we needed some replacements.

shev, y was rigoni delisted???? i thought he was quite handy, but i heard he had a damaged back or something? is that true?

also powell has gone bye byes to those deliberate under-achieving cheats the saints, but McDonald has re-signed.........

getting back to that comment, didnt that strike you as melbourne trying to lay the boot in whilst carlton was lying in gutter? thats how i interpreted it

Where ever Gary Morrcroft ended up he wiouldve been a good player !! I think he ended up a bit manicured at Essesndon like most players at Windy Hill !!
Being de listed was a good kick in the arse for him & will re teach him the disciplines of what it means to be a successful AFL player again !!
