Tigers appoint Loewe

Richmond have appointed Stewie Loewe as a ruck and marking coach, ending speculation that he would make a comeback following Everitt's departure to Hawthorn. It also means that Spud and Buckets will once again be on the same team.

WOW, the Tigers are certainly taking last seasons disappointment seriously. Miller comes in to run the club, Richo re-signs, Blumfield & Sugar-Kane join the playing ranks, Brittain and Loewe the coaching ranks. Could the Tiges actually be heading towards the right direction? Will Richmond FINALLY step out of the shadows and into the limelight, and be a club that can challenge honestly challenge for the Premiership for years to come?

Well pao I think the Tigers are making huge strides to show their fans that they're ever so serious and They look to be heading in the right direction. Now they seem to have a promising midfield.

I don't know what triggered it at Punt Road, but theirs has been the greatest offseason/preseason for an AFL club since my lot picked up Darren Jarman, Shane Ellen, Troy Bond, Kym Koster, Peter Caven and a couple of exciting kids named Simon Goodwin and Kane Johnson; installed Neil Craig as fitness coach and opened the multi-million dollar training facilities at Football Park.

And fat lot of good it did us too. After being equal Premiership favourites after 4 rounds we faded into obscurity thanks mainly to a massive injury list.

Richmond are primed for a good year and they can only improve, but by how much? Time will tell.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

I noticed Tiges has been absent after all this , I have done the research & he is OK !!!
He has been spending plenty of time sharing his excitement of Richmond FC at the Punt Road Sperm Bank.
