Craig Bradley Retires...

What a season for big name retirements - imagine putting the best 18 together in a side at their peak.

The Carlton & Port Adelaide legend played over 500 games of top-flight football counting VFL/AFL, SANFL, State of Origin and International Rules games, and also played Sheffield Shield cricket for South Australia.

Well done Craig, he'll be missed.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

- Vincenzo Grella, Parma & Australia.

The only thing I'll miss is throwing wheel chair brochures when Carlton come to town !!!

But in all seriousness Good luck to him !!!

I read that he felt like he could have gone around for yet another season, but decided to bow out while he was still feeling good.

Sad to see him go, but probably the best decision for both him and the Blues.
