Player loyalty

Wayne Jackson has denied claims that lotalty is being thrown out of the AFL.In my opinion there is not enough players swapping clubs but we dont want it to get out of hand.

You guys may have already touched on the subject but do you think that when a players out of contract he should be able to go to the club that offers him the highest contract without his former club getting anything in return.

And should you be able to buy players.

What's your thought's.

Screw loyalty. Fully-fledged free agency should be brought in.

If a player is a star he'll stick with a club - if he wants to leave or he's sh1t get rid of him or trade up.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

I will tell you why there is no more player loyalty !!! Its the draft system !!! IMO every club should have their zones and have atleast 2 picks from with in everyseason !!! the rest go in the draft. If the AFL goes that way , thter are better chance kids will be playing for clubs they have supported increasing loyalty !!

Im with couts here, the draft is to blame. Zoning has to be re-introduced to stop this crap of interstate players cutting their teeth at a club which invests in their development only to see them return home after a few years.
