Peter Rohde - Bulldog Supremo ...

Not an unexpected decision by the Doggies ... Rohde won the 1997 flag with Norwood in the SANFL and has been in and around Whitten Oval for awhile as an assistant - not only that, he'd be a damn sight cheaper than what Plough was.

The only loser out of the whole situation is poor old Choco Royal ... fair dinkum what more does the bloke have to do to get a senior position??

He missed out on Freo twice, Hawthorn, Melbourne, St. Kilda ... perennial bridesmaid.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

the only sad thing about all of this, is that a brilliant coach like Terry Wallace will be without a job in the AFL next year. quite sad really, than again it was his fault, and he has no one to blame but himself

Brian Royal was the man for this job , again I feel this may have been a money decision. How the the hell as an outsider looking in, How the hell can Footscray( Western Bulldogs ) overlook a man who has bled red white & blue for years $$$$$$$$$$$
