Should Jason Cloke be suspended for the Grand Final?

Now we will see what happens with Jason Cloke,What do you think should happen was it intentional on Tyson edwards, was it a mistimed fist for the ball or should he be given the benefit of the doubt.

Gawn.

Imagine if Johncock has taken out Buckley or Licuria in the same fashion?

He has to go !!! I'd give him 3 weeks But I have this gut feeling that we will see another court injunction that will allow him to play & then he will serve the suspension !!

It seems to me that in situations of 'recklessness' the AFL/Tribunal doesnt punish the crime itself, rather it focuses on the consequence of it. IMO if Edwards had gotten up and continued playing, Cloke would have been playing on Saturday.

BTW, i think 2 weeks was too harsh, id say that after 2nites appeal the sentence will be reduced to 1 week

1 week may as well be 10

What happened , did he lose the appeal or not ???

Really I dont care , cause if he plays , the Pies game plan will be disrupted and not up to scratch especailly if there are late changes to the team !!

fact of the matter is he did deserve a suspension, i feel for him, truth be told, but rules are rules and thats not the way to spoil end of story

Well Collingwood are sucked in !!
They thought they were going to get the negative decision tonite , so them & the AFL were in the supreme court tomorrow , but not now buddies The appeal will be rejected so now there is no chance of a supreme court injunction , I guess the AFL has learnt something over the years

Well its official Clokes ban stands,Im sorry but I dont mean to sound like a rotten PR##K but it was very stupid what Cloke done and he was so late.I bet had the Crows of got to the Granny Tyson would'nt of got up to play anyway we cant go back to past players who have missed out on the Gf be it their first year or their last.
Eddie thought he was going to go in and persuade the Afl to really reconsider,It was so foolish what cloke done and as far as Im concerned the decision of two weeks is fitting if not lenient.
