All-Australian Team

What did everyone think????

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

a heap of sh!te!

no reiwoldt, no J.Johnson, and LICURIA!!!!!!!!!!

Pavlich at full-back is the biggest joke even bigger than lappin getting a spot despite missing 7 games

Mal Michael wasnt better at FB? or wakelin from port? fair nuff fletcher was sh!thouse and didnt deserve a place

nah this was a bad selection process, reiwoldt fair enuff give CHF to tredrea, but he should of cracked a bench spot,

darcy should have been first ruck ahead of primus.

also brad scott is better than montgomery on a HBF, maybe even clement was stiff 2 miss out

I think pao that shows the reason why vic crowds have dropped and will continue to drop..........the interstate teams have the most talent simple as that and the only thing keeping the vic clubs in the hunt is pride and the fact these teams have to travel every 2nd week,

as soon as they master it like the lions and crows have, then this will be the norm every year, once in a while passion and crowd will carry one of the big V clubs close, but talent wise theres a HUGE difference!!!!
........and that wont change

I'll admit Pavlich will have his day in the sun as an AllAustralian regular , but he did not desrerve it this season , but he & us supporters will take it !!

I think it was an absolute joke that Anrew McLeod & Shane Parker were overlooked !!!!!!

Reiwoldt was the big feck-up - he lead the league in marks, kicked 20-something goals and had 300+ possessions but a 15-game chop like Lappin gets in?

Pfft!!!

Simon Goodwin was unluckier than McLeod in my opinion, and how the league continues to degrade the All-Australian team by picking names instead of positions is ridiculous. Pavlich should've snuck in on the bench at the very best - and certainly didn't deserve the fullback spot over Presti or Daryl Wakelin.

Although they fell away late on I thought Geelong were very stiff not to get at least one All-Australian guernsey with Steven King, Cameron Ling and Matthew Scarlett having to be close.

Put bluntly however, this All-Aus team was a shocker.

Yeah , I think they must have a bigger reveiw panel for the all Oz team !! I think there should be journos from every state and then the postions are by Ballot with nominations for every position

I never really heard about the incident in detail - just the innuendo on TFS ...

Is it possible for someone who heard the story to explain what happened either here or if it's too risque (I'm looking at you Couts!) tell me in a private message.

Cheers!

Well i heard that after Collingwood beat the Power in Adelaide, a certain Magpie player was caught flogging off in a car park.

I suppose we could say he "did a Doritich..."
