Pagan a Blue !!

As Dennis Commetti would say " How about that "
Pagan signs for the Carlton FC for a 3 year term worth $2.4 million. IMO he will bring the Blues back up & just him coaching the club that bit extra grunt during the trade period !!

Meaning Rodney Eade has nowhere to go ... I can't see him at the Roos or Doggies ...

Wallace is almost certainly a Swan then ...

And Peter Schwab would be thanking his lucky stars he had years on his contract with two Hawk old boys available.

I still have that feeling Wallace will be a Hawk leaving Eade now with no where but the Kangas . Paul Roos maybe a Bulldog ????

I reckon Roos will stay on at Sydney, and that Rocket will get the job at North.

As for the Bulldogs well thats anyones guess. Royal would have to still be favourite, but now that Brits is 'available' maybe the 'Scray might be tempted to go for him.

And as much as id love to see Wallace at Hawthorn, Schwab is pretty much safe.
Besides, we all know that the next coach at Hawthorn is going to be Lethal Leigh !!!

You'd have to be dreaming if that happened

Some interesting developments lately Plough apparently has said that he wont coach next year and maybe Rocket Eade wont as well. There seems a strong possibility that well respected ex blue coach Wayne Brittain may coach the doggies in 2003.
Also Peter Schwabs management have asked for an extension on his current contract which expires next year and that request was turned down.So maybe it's true the seast could be kept warm for Lethal maybe a return to the 80's for the Hawkers looking ahead.

i'm quite dissappointed at the fact that they didn't hird Terry Wallace, cause he's a better coach and he probably wouldn't have cost as much

Wallace probably wouldn't have cost as much Roos?

You're kidding right?

Roos is an untried coach compared to Plough who is one of the hottest coaches in the game and would command a top-dollar salary.

The Swans were probably worried about the litigation the Bullies were threatening the club who coaxed him out of his contract with.

Lethal will stay in Brisbane and win as many flags as possible whilst on a massive salary and with a 1 million dollar headstart on the rest of the competition.

The safest bet is the other Hawthorn oldboy Terry Wallace stepping straight into Schwab's seat in the coaches box in 2004 - unless Schwab wins the flag next year.

True dt, and its not much of a challenge is it, having so much talent and money at Lethal's disposal. He could win another 3 premierships up there easily, but we would seriously have to question just how good a coach he is... i mean would he be able to win a flag at a Hawthorn or a Richmond? Pagan won a few at North under tight financial conditions, Wallace took over at the Doggies and turned them into a force, Eade did absolute wonders at the Swans... these coaches have earned respect and admiration thanks to their degrees of success under difficult conditions (Not that Lethal isnt respected or anything of course....)

Thats why im thinking that Matthews might be persuaded to join the Hawks in '04. But if he doesnt, id still be happy with Plough in charge!

Dt you're right again ,With Brissie's headstart in the salary Cap it really gives them the luxury of paying that bit extra to the stars in Voss,Blacky,Aker etc.The real question is how well can this Brisbane side do and how far can they go.
