Best young talent of the season.

This is tough but however who do you think was the real stand out for the young guns this season,Was it Nick Riewoldt or Stevie Milne or Ty Zantuck or James Kelly,Bartel,Rahilly or Ling. What about Chris Judd or Teague or even Morrell well I can go on forever but you guys are more thorough so let us know your opinions.

thats pretty thorough dude

for mine u cant go past Reiwoldt, that kid is speeeeeeeeecial, and he'll pole well in the brownlow.

chris Judd is a huge talent and Ive never seen a first yr kid look more the matured league footballer........

Kelly is talent laden and has the talent to become anything.......... not to mention the others u mentioned from geelong MM, but hes the standout

Ty Zantuck has been exceptional, a real hard nut and a rock down back and the rodent is arguably the leagues best burst player, ok milne is, but rodan has been gr8, a bit rough around the edges but worth a mention.

Bolton from essendon has been a cracker for them down back, rarely had his colors lowered this season, Id go as far as to say hes been their best key position defender even above fletcher.

Mark McGough! AND Clokey!!! how could I forget, both have slotted into league footy incredibly smoothly, actually McGough is a bit like Juddy in that he looks a matured league player at just 17!

Mark Coghlan from richmond! how could i forget him? since rnd 10, hes simply put, been our best and most consistent performer racking up abt 25 odd possessions per game against quality opposition. A gem and I rate him as good as Judd and Hodge.

Im sure i'll remember more once I log off u boys from out west can mention ure mob, I havent seen enuff

NICK REIWOLDT - Gun, weapon, champion. Unlucky to make the German World Cup squad he's that good

CAMPBELL BROWN - My god ... Mal's boy is a Brownlow Medallist of the future. Had a blinder against Geelong. Expect big things.

SHAUN BURGOYNE - Peter's little brother has been excellent this season as a small forward/midfielder, the frightening thing is he's bigger than Peter and moves like a rolls-royce.

One thing on Medhurst, he's got to stop looking for free-kicks ... I saw a Freo game earlier this year and the special comments guy (can't remember who) bagged him for it and I noticed he did it a few times against us on Sunday ...

Other than that he looks a prospect.

Yeah so true perhaps Medhurst has a little bit of Stevie Milne in him ,Thanks TT DT Couts and all else i like this topic Because we will see in years to come that many of these boys will become all Australians.I recall saying to a friend of mine just the other day is Chris Judd a second or third year player and when I heard he was a first I was quite stunned.
Tt you mentioned Coghlan of the Tiges he has really excelled and been a real standout,Bomber has done an exceptional job with the kids at Corio bay and I like Robbie Murphy gees that kids a find.

Reiwoldt and Judd were by far the most consistant and most talented young footballers of the season.

Cloke has been good, but not consistant along with McGough who in my opinion has one of the worst kicks in the AFL.

Ling has been good.

Livingston playing at full back for the Blues deserves some credit. Not to mention Wiggins, Thornton, Sporn. All four players having to take over a backline with no experience have done a fair enough job for their respective position which they have been put in.

i'm not to sure about others, i as away in europe for 8 weeks during the season so i have lossed a little insight.

Reiwoldt - purely for the fact he looks like Akermanis (not up close, when he's on the field).

If he's half as funny he gets my vote.
