Fremantle vs Adelaide

Three words Couts ...

Bring it on!

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

I like to think Freo will be up for this one - But This game will be more important for Adelaide. I expect Justin Longmuir to sit out this one so he can have his Knee operation early & There has been talk of a "certain" rookie being elevated for this game... But we have to wait & see.

If Freo take it seriously & play Longmuir I think we should win by 4 goals & If we decide to rest players well it will a long day .

BTW Dyertribe - How do you think the announcement of Wayne Carey will affect some of the players knowing they may be traded ???

Yeah it's a thought ... how ironic would it be if Mark Stevens found himself back at Arden Street!

Another thing DT - How Adelaide play the game , could it be determined by the outcome of Saturdays Port - Brisbane game ???? Surely there would be a team you'd rather play !!!

Either way third looks locked in with Collingwood having to beat the Bullies and us having to lose for the two teams to swap positions. The percentage is tight so if this does happen we drop to fourth.

There are two options, another blood 'n' guts showdown in week-one of the finals with the winner off to the Prelim, or a trip up to the GABBA to play Brisbane who we've beaten the last two times we've played in the H & A season - both at the GABBA and AAMI.

It's tough.

Come on Man !!! You know as well as I do - Adelaide have the wood on Brisbane I know you dont wanna tempt fate & say it

Either way if you's upset Brisbane during the finals you could be put favourites given Adelaides history in finals !!

I know I know

The problem is, if we beat Brisbane and Port Adelaide beat Collingwood as expected (if the cards fall that way) we'd still be ranked second behind the Power and would be off to the G for our Preliminary Final.

Who was the imbecile who signed that damn contract giving the MCG a Preliminary Final every year until oblivion? It had to be a gaurantee to pay off the Great Southern Stand, surely.

How useless are Collingwood?

It's definitely Port vs Collingwood @ AAMI & Brisbane vs Adelaide @ the GABBA in the first week of the finals regardless of the Freo vs Adelaide game.

So the question is, will Adelaide relax or try to go into the finals with confidence and go for the win?

A Showdown followed by a trip to Perth followed by a trip to Brisbane in successive weeks - cripes.

Yep if thats the case- its either try & lose by 20 goals or rest players with injuries
