It is great news, and Anthony did you see the comparison in the Sunday Times of what Port and Adelaide took in the 1998 draft

Made Port sh!t pants??...

The care factor would be very very low especially if the Premiership Cup is residing at Alberton for the next 12 months come the end of September.

Mick Moylan

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

Yeah it wasn't even the draft KI, it was guys Port and Adelaide picked for the rookie list over Pavlich - so he was free!!

Mick Moylan
Regardless of whether they win the flag or not - Port were making huge moves for Pavlich.
It got to the point where Pavlich decided did he love Freo or not or did he want to go home. He Loves Freo
Mick Moylan had received a phone call on monday and blasted Port Adelaide after they were offered ( Illegally I may add ) Mead , Schofield & Lade. Moylan with his style told Port where to go and not to ring again till he heard the names of Carr & Dew. He then added if he was not getting them Pavlich was not going to be a Port Adelaide player next season.
Thats when I think Wayne Loxley ( Pavlichs manager ) realised Port werent ready to part with the players Freo wanted for Pavlich & the thought of going to either Carlton/St Kilda/Richmond or who ever finishes 4th bottom wasnt not an ideal situation to be in as none of them clubs were guaranteed.
So Pavlichs decision was made a little easier

No Bandwagon jumpers here bro
Ive been Freo through thick & thin ( mainly all thin ) & just the pressure recenly of this decision was huge.
Longmuir & Hasleby are on the verge of signing

Yeah sorry

Umm - yeah the media speculation was getting to everyone& it did get to the point where it was "If you know what your going to do , just F#cken announce it !!! " & to tell the truth 90% of people were resigned to the fact that he would be going back the Adelaide.

But it feels good to have him back on board Life is good & the roses smell good

In all respects Matty Pavlich needs to be commended on his decision Im sure it was a tough one not going back home and the lure of bigger cash.
