Who will win the Brownlow?

Well this season seems to be tricky as ever many contenders well who do you think will win this years highest Individual award,I think Shane Crawford will poll very well but also Luke Darcy is a dark horse as his Bulldogs teammate Brad Johnson.
Not to forget Peter bell's stellar season and also the trio frm the Kangaroos Adam Simpson,Brent Harvey and also Catain Courageous Anthony Stevens.

Stevo could be out for the rest of the year ...

Luke Darcy looks like the prime candidate at the moment but with all the ineligibility this season the award will be a farce. Benny Cousins will have a fair crack at it but don't be surprised if Macca's name is at the top of the board with that bloody asterisk beside it.

I think a winner will come from left field this year !!!

My Hope - Paul Hasleby -on fire since round 5

My tip - Des Headland - Scorching since round 8 & by my reckoning has atleast 6 B.O.G at this time and 4 really strong performances

Biggest dissapointment will be - Ben Cousins - Has had onl4 4 good games & even in them games he was on speed

Very well stated Couts Dessie Headland seems to be a dark horse he's really popped up with some great performances and really living up to that pressure of being Number one draft pick a few seasons back.Hasleby has had a fine season one of the kids to shine at Freo this season and How Id love for Mcleod to win it even though he cant.

The problem with Headland is he has 34890343 other team-mates taking votes off him - and realistically the chumps in white would always look to the blokes listed below to bestow votes upon before repeatedly praising Headland. Maybe I'm wrong ...

Voss, Lappin, Aker, Black, Brown, Lynch, etc ...

True theoretically !!!

But those weeks he has shone...his team mates have sat back in the backgrond & they trully have been Dezzy Headland shows !!!

Yeah the Fab 4 will take votes of Dezzy, also players such as Pike,Power,Notting and Ashcroft will take some votes as well.It makes you wonder if Dessie will be a Lion next season.

Was Josh Francou rubbed out earlier this year? Because if not it'd be well worth your while to sling some spare cash in his direction for the medal ...

I got a loose $10 on Roger James at the very generous odds of $330/1.

Probably no chance, but as a midfielder who regularly got in the best players and top possession getters all year in a side that finished with 18 wins?!!
