What is the whole deal with this?

Do you have to register or something to participate or just watch the show? (hmmn my IQ isn't looking the greatest at the moment )

Anyway i did the "mental gym" exercises on the website and out of 10 i got;

* Language: 7 (don't read enough books)
* Memory: 9 :eekani: (i thought mine sucked)
* Reasoning: 9
* Arithmetic: 9 (used to suck at this but work on it and repetition has improved it )
* Spatial: 3 (no surprise as i've always sucked at this)

Well it looks like COUTO is the short priced favourite but i expect KI and Alarich to get some late money . Whatever happens it looks as it " the award" will go over to the West

If you are too dumb to figure that out (just kidding) i'm being nice and will post the link here

That's classic

I saw one the other day that had a picture of Marsha from the Brady Bunch with the words 'I just f*cked your boyfriend' and another one with Tatu from Fantasy Island with the words 'I dig chicks' ...

I got 61 out of 76 in the 19-25 age group = IQ 120.

I'm a bit pissed off at the result because half of my wrong answers came in the arithmetic questions (which I was never at school for) and those stupid society questions - what the fcuk was up with the marriage, prescription and escalator questions????? My other wrong answers came from a mixture of the odd wrong memory question, a couple wrong in the number sequence questions and a couple wrong in the shape sequence questions.

How did everyone else do?

Well i didn't sign up in time and missed the start of the show (the backup option)

I started to watch it but the sight of Eddie involved made me lose concentration so i gave up

I reckon i'd have been lucky to get 100

I wish the ninemsn site gave us an option to just do the test but not record the results (as i think that was the whole point -- to record ppl's results and make comparisons in a "census like" way

120 is still good though . Puts you in the top 25% of the country :eekani:. Probably explains why you are at uni as well (but then again so am i and i would have got a lot less than 120 IMO :depress: )

Anyway if i wan't my IQ done then i will get it done the pro way (i.e pyschologically analysed). You can never trust something when it is in the form of a TV show and has Eddie and Catriona hosting . Apparently mood and distractions can adversely affect your score and i just wasn't up for it tonight

p.s the Kiwis finished last didn't they (didn't see the end as me and my sis were having a battle of wills over the remote). Perhaps you should remind the "kiwi" guy DT that we are more than sport afterall (although again they might have just picked the dummest kiwis to be on the show )

I know man - I thought about the whole Eddie Mac and T1ts Rowntree factor when I was tallying up my score

Re: That kiwi guy and the army of them from across the ditch in the studio ... that was a mixture of hilarity and sadness. I thought to myself 'how many of these people have jobs and where are they getting their money from?'
