knew wed get houlihan, weve wanted him for abt 2 seasons now, and good thing is we get him dirt cheap as a draftee.

Couts give me any info you can dig up on Mark McGrath from South Fremantle. We got him at pick 77 so hes an unknown quantity.

Luke Hodge to hawthorn. Poor Hodge, no number 1 pick will be under more intense pressure than this lad especially after the trent croad fiasco. But hes a huge talent and hawthorn look after their kids.

Luke Ball and chris Judd , those 3 are 3 superstars of the future they say.

westcoast did well in getting both judd and sampi, and bulldogs will be laughing to the bank that sam power lasted till pick 10.

My gut feeling tells me Luke Ball will be the pick of the top crop this time next year.

Graham Polak to freo, another exciting key-position player, gee wiz if freo can hold onto these young big blokes for abt 4 years theyll challenge for premierships by then.

Dockers Pick Ups

Graham Polak - Tall forward , very athletic , can & has kicked big bags at WAFL level , Excellent mark in Packs , Excellent kick will be a good player !!! - needs a season building himself up

Andrew Browne - midfielder in Peter Bell mould , yet to make debut at WAFL level . Unknown quality . Described as nippy , tough tackling and deadly acurate by foot and hand( he cant hand ball that distance) over 45 metres . a preseason in the gym & could be in line for selection if there are early injuries

Paul Medhurst - a clever small forward who at 20yo bagged 76 goals in his rookie WAFL season . Can play midfield , very strong for a small player , strong hands , lacks in defensive skills , Body already developed for AFL rigours

Att: TigerTUFF - Mark McGrath

A small midfield / forward , younger brother of Cory & Toby at Essendon. Very thin , He will only play VFL this season . No doubts he can play , more an outside player , makes very good "quick " decisions , kicking will improve ( Brothers were the same , getting better in age ) probably the heir apparent for Nick Daffyeven though you might have to wait the year . He'll be good - a tough Freo boy

The ones that got away :(

Fremantle were happy with the draft picks but the 2 players they wanted were taken early watch out for these 2

Ashley Sampi - WCE - Wirrpunda reborn
Steven Armstrong - Melbourne - Strong Pedigree in WAFL , Joint winner of the medal at the U18 national carnival & IMO will play for Melbourne come Round 1 !!! possible Norwich rising star winner
