Fremantle Dockers

Just following in Lady E's footspeps and telling you about my Club , the Fremantle Dockers( or Sharks as rumour has it that Freo could drop the Docker pretty soon * legit story to be told about this )
Well they formed in 1994 , & in 1995 played their very 1st game they played Richmond . Tigertuff was at the ground and its a fair bet he sh!t broken glass, but the tiges eventually won by 5 points .The Dockers perfomed above expectation that year , with no star players , I think it was the game style that undid a lot of opposing teams and the Femantle side won 7 games for the year .
Still this side has never played finals and after 7 years in the big league here are the stats

Played : 154
Won : 47
lost :110

Best game : V- West Coast Eagles 2000, " The famous Demolition Derby "
Most memorable game : First win at MCG , V Melbourne 2000, Modra 10 goals
Record Games holder : Dale Kickett 110 + , & missed many more through suspension

Interesting Stat - Last team beaten by Fitzroy , Last team to beat Fitzroy
Another intersting stat, look at the captains list
1995- Ben Allan
1996- Ben Allan - Forced to retire Knee
1997- Peter Mann
1998- Peter Mann - Sacked at end of season
1999- Chris Bond - Sacked over the Phone
2000- Sean Mc Manus - Supporters call for his sacking
2001- Co captains - McManus agian - people still calling for his sacking & Adrian Fletcher - sacked aswell
2002 - Peter Bell - ? ( lets hope he has better luck , he already has been sacked by this club before )

Yeah I dont know why I go for this team but I love my Town . We will be good in a few years I hope

any questions ????

Next Season we have it all over the eagles. I think Freo will be a very offensive team .Next season with a stronger playing list I feel our goal to goal line is going to be one of the best in the league .& come round 1 when we play the West Coast Faeces we will beat them nicely

Fremantle Have today signed Fabian Francis from Port Adelaide .
That is good news for me cause thats bad news for my "favorite" player Sean " Poodle Head " McManus.

We have got a large amount of aboriginals in our team now

Clem Michael
Dale Kickett
Jeff Farmer
Troy Cook
Fabian Francis
Keiren Ugle
Dion Woods
Steven Koops
Roger Hayden

It is official . Clem Michael has retired.
Story spreading through Perth is Michael who badly injured his knee 2 years ago grew tired of rehabilitation. He underwent radical knee surgery where his knee cartilage was removed & sent to Denmark . There it was reconstucted sent back some months later and re insurted. He was expected to play last season but didnt even make it to the training track. Michael was an extremely talented Ruckman -Defender who was rated very highly at the club. to give an example of his influence when recriuted in Damien Drums first season he took a while to warm to AFL level but when he did he was very good.
Check out this stat of Damien Drums coaching record
Drum with out Michael in the team - 0 / 28 for 0%
Drum with Michael in the Team - 13 / 25 for 52%
That just underlines the influence he had in his short career.

My Guess also is I have a hunch that Clem Michael well may sue the club . Thank god for insurance
