Which team is most likely to challenge the mighty bombers this season?

My honest opinion?

Essendon will more than likely win it again, but teams are bridging the gap fast, I dont see them as invincible as last season or even 2 months ago, teams are improving rapidly and it wouldnt surprise me one bit if they lost a few more games from here on in.

Carlton, Collingwood and Brisbane mainly look like they have the goods,
next bracket Hawthorn, port power
then the likes of richmond, Syd, adelaide, Nth, Bulldogs

damn I dunno what came over me voting brisbane, ok IMO they are almost as talent laden as the bombers themselves but theres no way they could beat them at the G in a grandfinal.

carlton look most likely

Collingwood and Carlton. These two sides really have the steamroller moving. They can challenge in the Home and Away but when it comes to the finals, Essendon won't fall in the trap twice.

IMO it has to be Carlton. They have the midfield to trouble anyone and most importantly they aren't intimidated!

If the GF is played in Brisbane then maybe they could win. They won't win a GF till they get over there phobia.

No 1 will challenge the Bombers this year... again!!! Easy as that.

The only team that could come close would have to be Carlton... only becoz they have the experienced players behind them.

Brisbane cant win the big games in Melb... Hawthorn, well this isnt the year for them to win it (maybe next season ), North is getting too predictable, Richmond seem to self destruct at the wrong time, Collingwood is still too inexperienced, Bulldogs missed the boat for a premiership a few years ago, Sydney cant win it coz of the off-field politics in regards to their coach for next season, Port while they started strongly i reckon they still have question marks over them....

Carlton on the other hand always seem to challenge the Bombers, they have the players to match them, the history behind them, the motivation (lets not forget these two clubs are the most successful in the comp), and IMO the best president in the land

Essesndon - Carlton Grand Final this year..... Essendon to win by over 8 goals.

Carlton could do it providing they have a full squad to pick from. At the moment we have way to many injuries and they dont get into form before the finals, it is all over.........and the Bombrers...oopppsss will have number 17 on the board!:depress:
