St Kilda beat an overrated Essendon side who don't have much chop, geelong went on their merry way and proved that they have what it takes to really give it a push.Collingwood beat a spiritless Doggie team,The Weagles wayward kicking were a big factor against Port,The dees destroyed the Tiges in stunning fashionThe Kangas well who would'nt of guessed a hammering vs the Miserable hawks.
Sydney shockingly capitulated to the dockers and that leaves the premiers again who else but the Brissie Lions!!!

I went and saw Port play Essendon with my gf (she's a Power girl) in round one. Essendon were abombernible [sic]. Should've gone down by 100 points even though the weather was raining on and off and James Hird got 1000 possessions - and Port were without Francou, Primus, James, et al.

They're rubbish - although Murphy and Allan have been serviceable for them they should have never topped up and stuck to youth. The only real bright spot has been McPhee who looks a solid for this year's AA team - and should move into the midfield next year where he should shine.
