Round 3 - Easter Weekend

Brisbane vs Collingwood
Kangaroos vs Carlton
Essendon vs West Coast
Sydney vs Geelong
Port Adelaide vs Hawthorn
Western Bulldogs vs Melbourne
Fremantle vs Adelaide
St Kilda vs Richmond

What do you think? Obvious match of the round is Brisbane vs Collingwood at the Gabba where the Lions should truimph comfortably. Always a great rivalry between Essendon and West Coast and this match will be as fiery as ever. We will find out a bit more about some other teams as well.

Was King Italy..

well, three great games on saturday. carlton got the bad end of the stick while James Hird confirmed that he is a champion and that his comments on umpiring are not so bad after all.

goal umpiring was a joke. western bulldogs lossed by a small margin and early on in that game Yze (sp) kicked a behind which was called a goal.

overall, exciting and good football...but it must be said that umpires have once again caused havoc.

Brisbane and Port continued to show off their strength win big victories at home.

Essendon, Kangaroos and Sydney all scraped home in thrillers.

Melbourne dominated the Bulldogs but failed to do so on the scoreboard.

Fremantle had a fair victory over the Crows and St. Kilda convincingly went to the top of the ladder against Richmond.

Mark down Tredrea, Hird and Cousins for the Brownlow.
