Rex Hunt's Calls

See how many names you can come up with for players that Rexy has named over the years.

Not-a-well-man (Sean Wellman)

Oysters Kilpatrick (Glenn Kilpatrick)

Nice and Neitz (David Neitz)

The Galloping Gourment (Some commentator, who is it?)

The Big Man Who Travels By Train (See above)

Anymore... there's stacks but I can't think of them at the moment.

"They picked on the wrong man - and the wrong country. It was like pouring petrol onto a fire as far as I was concerned.

There's an old saying that the dog that barks loudest never bites. They did a lot of barking but we bit them pretty hard. Uruguay's attitude just showed how scared they were of us - it was their last resort."

can't handle him as a commentator. His bastardisartion of the English language makes him hard to comprehend sometimes. More of a MMM listener there, even if it means having to put up with shit music, blokey chat and worst of all Sam Newman.

" The thing is though, no matter how bad your team happens to be, you will still love them. Divorce is not an option in the world of football supporting, it really is a case of death do us part."

Back when I was a fat angry teenager I used to love watching the footy on 7 with the sound down and cranking up 3AW with Rexxy, Anthony Hudson and Sam Newman.

Awesome awesome commentary team. The excitement of Rexxy mixed with the fire in Huddo's voice with Sam's observations thrown in. Absolutely fantastic.

The commentator is Gary Brice,ex Sth Melbourne V.F.L/Pt Melbourne V.F.A

And the BMWTBT is Tony Lenoard,ex Cooddabeen Champion although they are on the ABC pre-game and Sunday night at 7pm,now he calls the Saturday night game on AW with Daicos.

How about the "Orange Roughy"-Justin Leppitch.
Koutafidamidis-Anthony Koutafidis.
BigRed-Lance Whittnal.
The Diesel-Greg Williams.

Honestly there are moments when he calls the game that he doesn't even mention a players name, only niknames.

........ Planet Milan ........

............i am happy.............
