Everyone starts with $1500
at the start of the season...
I'll list the odds of each week's matches from the betting agency I'm with (sportodds.com - I decided to name the agency so people know the odds aren't dodgy) at the earliest possible convenience...
Every round we must bet a minimum of $100
on any 4 matches...
Minimum bet on a match is $1 - therefore an example of a round would be:
Richmond v Essendon - $1 on Essendon @ $2.00
Adelaide v Western Bulldogs - $10 on Adelaide @ $1.60
Geelong v Brisbane - $19 on Brisbane @ $1.50
Fremantle v Collingwood - $70 on Freo @ $2.30
We place our bets (before 5pm of the first day of the round) - listed in a new and separate weekly thread so we don't have a cluttered and confusing system.
Failure to place your bets for a given round will result in a penalty of $200
I'll tabulate everyone's winnings after each round and so on, feel free to double check them
The punter who wins the most money in each separate round gets a $250
weekly-winner bonus... if not one punter has a positive weekly result, the weekly bonus jackpots to the next week.
In the event of a drawn game - where no one has bet on a draw - all money bet on that particular game will be refunded.
If you bankrupt you're G.A.W.N. This will encourage punters to 'bet smart' as it were and discourage some arsey cnut from betting 99% of his treasure on a draw - and then having the thing come off
If at least 2 punters are left at the end of round 22, we'll include finals.
Punter with the most cash at the end of the season is the official Premier Punter!
Amendment to rule 8, added: "if not one punter has a positive weekly result in a given round, the weekly bonus jackpots over to the next round until it's won."
The reason being I noticed that everyone but me had a negative weekly result in Round 11 and it would've looked silly if we'd all lost and the cash bonus had gone to the person who had lost the least.
