Initially it seemed Simmons would run away with it. But Mitchell has been amazing. Bill said Mitchell, unlike Simmons, can do anything. But I thought the claim with Donovan is that he's primarily a scorer? While Simmons is more all-round as far as assists, rebounds, points. Just see how many triple doubles he's got.
Mitchell is doing an honorable attempt, he is gonna be a legit scoring superstar in coming years and I love to watch him play, but its SO clearly Simmons in so many ways that it should be clear to anyone who actually watches this season regularly. He is a legit impactful player that competes with the better players in general in many facets of the game, not just for rookies. Top 5 defensive guards, top few best playmakers, extremely high IQ selfless player, one of the biggiest transition threats, basically anything but jump shots he is completely dominate in so far, and even if thats a clear flaw (he needs to develop a right handed shot), he is litterally in his rookie season and he will become the face of the league (with Giannis and Embiid etc) if he gets that figured out.
He is in the running for one of the best rookies EVER, he has this season on lock already.
Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim
Lol yeah he is KAT bff in PUBG (better gamer too lol). Kinda hilarious KAT wanted to go to bed for game tomorrow. Ben be like who you playing? KAT says Hawks. Ben goes Hawks? You have plenty of time before bro lol.
There have been a few rare occasions where they had joint rookie of the years. This year could be one of those years. Donovan reminds me a little bit of Wade with the steps, except he's got the 3 ball down already for a rookie. Quite impressive. It is nice to see some instant impact rookies. Both Mitchell and Simmons have been tremendous in helping their respective teams get to the playoffs.
