NBA Free Agency 2015

Some big men this year that are attracting a lot of interest (LMA, Love, Gasol, Monroe, Jordan, etc.), while the guard pool is a little weaker (Dragic, Wade, Butler, Ellis, etc.).

Also some notable mid-tier FA in Middleton, Green, Belinelli, JR Smith, David West, Afflalo, etc.

---

Some of my predictions for the big-name FA:

LMA -> San Antonio
Marc Gasol -> Memphis
Kevin Love -> Cleveland
Greg Monroe -> New York
DeAndre Jordan -> Dallas
Goran Dragic -> Miami
Dwayne Wade -> Cleveland

---

Some FA I hope the Kings sign:

Omri Casspi (re-sign)
Andre Miller (re-sign)
Rajon Rodno
Wesley Mathews

Goran Dragic signs a $90M five year deal with the Heat.

Wade meanwhile opts out of his contract...apparently he's looking for 20 million per year. Good luck with that...33-year old guy with busted knees

One interesting scenario for him would be joining the Bucks. they have the cap room for a few more years and could use a player like him. Plus he used to play for Marquette so there's local interest.

I can't see him going to Cleveland, he would not fit in the backcourt with Irving at all.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And.its the football, thats the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

The Salary cap will rise , its not surprising to see such deals.

Teams that are wise will give long term contracts now. The Cavs just Locked up Love/Thompson for 5 years it seems.Irving is tied till 2019 as well. This deals in 2017 will be steal when salary cap rises. This 3 players will be getting paid below the market in 2 years time.

We have traded Thompson, Landry and Stauskas to Philadelphia for the rights an unnamed overseas player (Šarić?). This leaves us $25.9 mill. in cap space.

Our top targets are Wesley Matthews, Corey Brewer, Rajon Rondo and Monta Ellis.

What a shame we have a really good coach, and young hungry core!

Isn't Saric on contract for 1 more year?

Damn, sucks we couldn't get him.

We ended up getting their teo second rounders from this draft. The Lithuanian looks good as a stretch 4.

spurs were never signing aldridge anyway. very similar to gasol last year, strong rumors nothing happens. free agents never came to SA when duncan was in his prime, they wont come when he's close to retiring.
spurs should of kept splitter but pop is a moron.

I don't like it man. No motivation whatsoever.

Remember the Brooklyn Nets? Total collapse.

Max for guys like Williams and Johnson and they ended up becoming no shows.

meh about that move...he's a horrible defender which limits his overall value quite a bit. not sure if he's really the best fit with guys like Parker and Giannis.

Twin tower mode is back. What's mighty frightening is their back-court can still have nights where they produce great numbers. Had Aldridge not signed, Cleveland would have been the default favorites, now everything completely changes.

Warriors are still the favorites IMO.

For the West, Yes. Betting Odds have Cavs favorites for it all.
Cavs only emeny is injuries and health, if everyone is healthy no one will stop them..
When they were healthy ( Love - Irving - lebron playing) Cavs were 33 - 3 in 2nd part of regular season (14 - 0 against west). And playoffs, they only played celtics series healthy.

And adding some depth to backourt, with that Haywood Contract is all what Cavs need now.
