NBA Finals 2015: Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers

as no team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit in an NBA playoff series (in 116 attempts) I think we can start this thread already to discuss this year's finals series.

well, it looks pretty clear on the outset...Warriors are bigger favorites than any team I can remember in finals history. Cavs are definitely without Love, also Irving and maybe even James are in doubt too with their many small knocks. Common sense says it should be 4-0 or 4-1 for GSW but maybe LeBron can produce some magic again...

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Through the first 39 games, the Warriors were 33-6 & the Cavs were 19-20. After the Cavs trades and Lebron coming back to play, Cavs are 46 - 11 and Warriors are 46 - 12...

Cavs also 14 - 1 in their last 15 games vs the west.

Warriors are favorites, but I feel its like 70 % - 30 % ( Warriors - Cavs).
Bookings have warriors favorites.

Warriors might be clear favorites with health, depth, coaching, etc. I would be happy for them if they won considering the records they broke this year and the beautiful display of basketball, especially thanks to Stephen Curry.

But with that said I think the Cavaliers will miraculously survive. I think they'll go hard for the Game 1 win (first time the Warriors are in the finals). If they get that done. That's where the back and forth battle will begin. I think LeBron will get them a few narrow 2 point/3 point kind of wins and help them prevail in 7.

A lot of this will come down to high 3 PT FG% and the battle of the offensive boards. Tristan Thompson can be a huge help here if he's on. Kyle Thompson and Draymond Green haven't been at their best in terms of 3PT shooting, if they continue in this manner, this can certainly help Cleveland's chances. Golden State prefers not to play in the paint compared to many other NBA teams so if they're not shooting well and if they don't get enough second chances from offensive rebounds, they're left vulnerable. Iguodala hasn't been explosive at all coming from the bench. I think the Warriors will throw a combination of Thompson/Green/Iguodala at LeBron James, however, as a result I think they might get exhausted and their shooting will take a dive. I think James will elevate Smith/Shumpert/Dellavedova at various times in this series.

I am more excited for this one then Spurs - Heat last 2 years.Where old legs were competing... ( Wade, Allen, Duncan, Ginobili, Parker)...

I feel there is lot more young blood in the 2 teams...

Wade gonna be analyst in nba finals

Quote:
MIAMI (AP) — Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat is going back to the NBA Finals -- as an analyst.
The three-time NBA champion will join ABC for pregame and halftime shows during Games 2 and 3 of the Cleveland-Golden State series. Wade also will have the same arrangement for Games 6 and 7 if those games are played.
Wade has played in five NBA Finals, winning titles in 2006, 2012 and 2013. He and the Heat were in each of the last four title series, and Wade has remained close friends with former Miami teammate LeBron James -- who has led the Cavaliers to this year's finals.
Earlier this offseason, Wade told The Associated Press that he was considering TV work, "but only if it was right and made sense for me."
