End of third quarter ind 59 chi 84 ... very strong defensive teams but chicago is 9/13 for 3pts..while Indiana I dunno 0/5 I think.

Rose gets little minutes but still scored few 3 pointers. ..great games for the bulls so far

This was a great psychological win for the Bulls. They really needed something like this to get going. Rose's shooting was much better tonight than previous games. Hinrich has been pretty solid this season.

I just hope Thibs gives Erik Murphy a chance sometime this season when he's physically prepared.

Yeh, you picked up from slow start of the season. Rose will get better from here, and gain more confidence in his game.

Top 3 in east.Miami, Indiana, Bulls..

well done Bulls...I still feel they can be going places this season. Despite of the inconsistent start, the potential is there.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? With healthy rose, you would contend. Not my pick to win though, cause feel not the right talent around him.

But health is the first issue here, seems rose injured his right knee and couldnt return to the game yesterday. I hope he doesnt become like t-mac, oden etc etc. Shame to see top talents like that career ruined with injuries.

It sucks badly especially when it is a point guard or playmaker. Everything goes through them. Imagine Miami without LeBron. Terrifying.

Hopefully nothing career-threatening.

Bulls wasn't that bad last season without him...by playoffs they had of course too many injuries overall to pose a threat to the Heat.

Some Bulls fans on other forums are in panic mode already and are talking of tanking (and even the possibility of amnestying Rose)...the initial reports say it's an ACL tear.

If it's an ACL, might as well blow it up.

Proposed trade 1: Deng to Cleveland for Waiters + 2014 1st rounder.

Cleveland gets a borderline all star SF on an expiring contract the gives them perimeter D and average offense. Chicago gets a 2 who can create his own shot. With Butler ascent, Deng is dispensable and also a first rounder in a loaded draft.

Proposed Trade 2:

Chicago gets: Eric Gordon and Asik + future 1st rounder

Houston gets: Ryan Anderson

Pelicans get: Deng and Noah

Turn Deng's expiring contract and Noah's injury prone yet still valuable ass into a rim protector and 20ppg scorer. Houston pretty much does that deal in its sleep. And New Orleans gets a legit SF an legit C.

Amnesty boozer and tank like a bitch. Get Chicago's second son Jabari Parker and dominate for another decade.

Ok may be not, but still worth considering.

The 1st trade proposition is interesting although I doubt if Cavs would agree to it unless the pick is top 3 or ever top 6 protected.

The second scenario doesn't look too likely as I don't think Rockets would consider Anderson a necessary player for them (they already have plenty of shooters) and wouldn't give up Asik for him.

Asik handed in a trade request and has refused to play in the last week. He cramps up space when playing alongside Howard and together when they are on the floor, they aren't exactly great defensively or even rebounding above the average rate.

Yes, playing him and D12 together was doomed from the start and they look so much better with Jones. But Asik handed in a request before the season started, too. Morey is a smart GM and doesn't hurry in getting rid of him. He's a valuable asset and will be traded for somebody who adds something they need (mainly it should be on defensive end) and improve their title chances. With Anderson I think there would be chemistry problems...they're already gung-ho as it is on offensive end.

Anderson and Howard killed it together in Orlando before Dwight went down with his injury. They do need defensive help, but I don't see who they could get. Lets face it though, even if they get a good defender on the perimeter like may be Marion for Asik, they won't become a good defensive team because they have simply too many Ole defenders. Might as well go even more gung ho on attack. Spread the floor for Dwight and create driving lanes for Harden. Basically become Zdenek Zemans Lecce team only with world class players.

I don't think adding another offensive specialist would get them any closer to the title though. Scoring is not a problem for them. They need to add players who could do a better job in stop the other team from scoring. And Anderson, Parsons, Harden all starting plus Lin getting his 30+ minutes per game...it would pretty tough to balance both on offense and defense.

He's just not a logical choice for them

Anyway, i guess Bulls without Rose this season might be worse than Bulls without Rose last season...last season there were Belinelli and Nate Robinson to create something on the offensive end. This time you're much more reliant on Hindrich...Dunleavy is hardly more than just a spot-up shooter who will find it much harder to get good looks without Rose being there.
