NBA Tip-Off 2013

The season finally starts on Tuesday ...it has been a long wait.

Some good games coming up in the first two days:

Tuesday:

Miami facing Bulls in Chicago (quite a lot might be at stake here in terms of psychological edge for the rest of the season)

Lakers vs Clippers

On Wednesday Nets vs Cavs seems to be the most exciting one...first chance to see the new Nets in action in an official game and Bennett making his NBA debut as well.

also Bobcats vs Rockets (Howard's first game for Houstin; Cody Zeller's NBA debut) and Grizzlies vs Spurs.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? I'm getting on the Phoenix bandwagon now. They picked up the best guy in the last draft IMO. Alex Len, a two way center with proper low post moves and someone who can defend in the post and also the pick and roll.

And they probably have FOUR first round picks in the next draft, which is going to be loaded with potential superstars. It will probably pay off in 2016 or 2017 but I am getting on the bandwagon early.

The pick they are getting from washington is top 12 protected. I think though washington will make playoffs this year.

Wonder if suns will buy out okafor also?

They will probably flip him to some team needing cap relief next year for more assets.

If Len's legs hold up then he might become the best player out of this draft indeed...those stress fractures he has already suffered are a cause of worry though if we think of other big men who have had nagging injuries in early years of their career.

If they get one of Wiggins/Parker/Randle they will be a fun team to follow.

NBA season started, and the heat are clowning the bulls in the first half.
I dont know how some like bill simmons picked Bulls as number one in power rankings. They have clear scoring problems, outside of rose they look very bad. No one capable of knocking down a shot, dunleavy looks a downgrade on bellinelli ..he needs to hit 3 point shots and spread the floor for rose.
Rose playing fine, but his shooters are failing him.


Still, both teams at start of season and far away from giving their best punch today.

Pacers win the first game of the season vs orlando magic. Roy Hibbert had 16 rebounds and 7 blocks in 27 minutes.

I think hibbert is best defensive center in the league, I take him Over Marc Gasol. He is a great rim protector.

Yeh he has great potential, I liked his defence on lebron last year in playoffs.

A surprise day, brooklyn lost to cleveland on road. On other hand Miami lost to the ****in sixers on road, we started the game 19 - 0 down...and were down at one point by 22. we came back to the game, but at the end we did so many careless turnovers. sixers deserved to win the game.




Have fun watching this video, beyond funny lol...its embarassing.

Knicks were up by 25 vs bucks, and were about to choke it. They won at the end.

Houston rockets win on howard debut against bobcats, Howard got 26 rebounds and 17 points . Asik got 14 more rebounds as well. Together they outrebounded the bobcats by 3

Sixers are 3 - 0 starting the season, so much for tanking for wiggins lol.
They will collapse soon, but damn no one expected this start from them beating both Miami and Chicago.
Michael Carter Williams, the rookie is playing outstanding.

Early in the season you're going to get a ton of weird results.

Around 15 games we should get an idea where all 30 teams stand.

I don't see the Bulls doing any damage to the Nets or Heat come playoff time. We could have problems against the Pacers and maybe the Sixers.

I was looking at some of the predictions. One guy had Golden State going all the way. They're an awesome team on paper but injuries could make them doubtful.

Most of the predictions I'm looking at have the Heat back in the finals (not surprising as they have perfect chemistry and championship experience).

But the only thing that surprises me is that some of these guys have the Thunder headed back to the finals. I don't see the sense in that. Clippers, Rockets, sure, but Thunder? Not sure how they've improved.

As far as MVPs are concerned. Most of the analysts have James, Paul, Durant, and Rose.
I could see the award given to James or Paul, not sure about Durant. I'm not sold on Rose either for this season, teams are a lot tougher this time around. Maybe next season.

I think one player that could potentially surprise and steal the award is James Harden. He's a shooting guard but he plays a tremendous role in Houston.
