I got the Wizards 6th in east this year, they might surprise for higher position I dont know. But Wizards looked whole alot better last year when wall returned, if he played from the season start..they would have defo made playoffs last year.

overrated

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? Was extremely impressive to finish the season, and in a decent stretch of games too.

Let's see how he starts the season and which John Wall shows up. If he continues where he left off, those next superstar claim are gonna look imminent.

Washington Wizards is the dumbest franchise name in NBA, they should name it back to Bullets.

Or Washington Zephyrs

I'd say the lakers nickname is the stupididest I mean, what is a "laker" anyways?

Has the talent to be a standard point guard but won't be a super star by any stretch of the imagination. This jerk was laughing when Kentucky got its rear ends handed to them by West Virginia. I saw the match, Cousins played poor as well, but the responsibility comes from Wall has he had too many turnovers, created nothing in that game, and was just flat out horrible. For a guy that's suppose to be a potential top tier point guard he ended up becoming an overhyped fluke. He'll find mix success in the NBA, but definitely not a super star.

If he can be decent on his jumpshot, he's always gonna be threat. He's got great speed and can finish at the rim. He can break down a defender of the dribble. No reason why he can't be a superstar if he plays like he did last season.

Speed and technique is one thing, but he'll need to fix his attitude first. Lets see what happens.

Can't fault them. They have no chance but to roll with him.

Same scenario for Sacramento and Cousins.

Kid was almost 20-10 with great defense post all-star break last year and he's extremely young showing signs of improvement in his pull-up and midrange jumper.

He deserves the max , imo. He is incredibly talented. However ,I dont agree with it. I would have tried to sign him for less this summer. If he doesn't bite them let him play out the season.

If he wants a max deal make him earn it. He definitely hasnt earned this deal. He has missed a lot of games and his play has been inconsistent.

However Beal and wall will make the wizards into a scarey good team in the playoffs. And , yes...beal is the next ray allen...dude plays like him ,too.

He's not gonna settle for less then the max - if he reaches the free market he would get the max from someone else.

The smart business move unless you think you won't match him losing him for free, and/or think you can trade him for something better (which clearly the Wizard don't think so) - is to just give him the vote on confidence right now and show him you are 'all-in', which you will be anyways if he hits RFA but it'll be bad blood between you cause you let other teams make him offers.

The Wizards are arguably the most stupidest organization out there. Charlotte raised its class by getting Jefferson and Zeller, two awesome pieces. They still won't go anywhere in the long run but at least their management made smart moves. Maybe they changed their management? Not sure.

But the Wizards keep running in circles each and every year.

They've drafted a little bit of everything but perhaps if they had a strong management and proper coaching staff, they'd get somewhere these years.

I'm not sold on this Georgetown guy. Beal could end up turning well. But regardless whatever happens, if they want the team to get anywhere they need to give the players a template to work with. Can't draft the players then lead them without any direction.

What is their ideal starting 5 now? Is this it?:

C Okafor
PF Nene
SF Porter
SG Beal
PG Wall

Yeah that could be there starting 5, but I think Webster will start and Porter coming off the bench.

thats a good starting 5. Nene is such a pure pf he is just prone to injuries , that fat slob. If he can stay healthy..wiz will prolly battle for the 6th/5th seed...

Wiz can def shoot the 3(webster , beal , ariza are all good 3 point shooters) and play good defense....I can see wall and beal making the all star team next yr.
