Official New York Knicks Thread

Any Knick fans here?

I am excited about Prigs returning and Metta World Peace, but I am a little bummed about Copeland leaving and Andre Bargs joining the Knicks.

I have lost a lot faith in Woodson and Tyson Chandler as well.

I'm not happy about Bargnani joining at all.

He's better than Novak for sure.

2010-11 he averaged 21 points a game. He can be run as a SF. We desperately need a big banger though. I liked the Artest signing, we just need to find someone in a similar mould who can play the 5.

Knicks needed defense and rebounding, and they traded a lot for a guy who does the opposite of that.

Camby was extremely undervalued in this trade. Even Novak. Camby, while old, is still a good rebounder.

Knicks' best bet for a center is Kenyon Martin or Earl Barron (lol).

Looking forward to what Woodson does with the Italian Stallion.

But Camby couldn't even get on the court last season.

Exactly y I lost faith in Woodson. Camby was healthy for majority of the season, but

Woodson would not play him, even during times of need.

Signing Martin and Prigioni were good moves. Even though I dont like him MW Peace is probably a good deal too.

Amare is the burden of this team. He cant stay fit and when he is fit he doesnt fit in the playing style. Cant defend and he is not the dominating force he was in Phoenix. When is his contract ending?! Can they send him to some team for some 4th round picks or something...

Bargnani wasnt a good deal, but he can help some (i hope) OR he will be the new Amare of this team.

Tyson has to give more. Shumpert should improve his jump shot and continue playing defense.

Melo should not be selfish.

Lot of IFs for this team to win something BUT if everything falls into place THAN a miracle can happen

Too many ifs for me. There's far too many bad defenders for this team to win the title. I think second round again is the best the Knicks will achieve.

Nothing to be excited about last year either.

From the moment Amar'e continued to get injured and stopped playing in his 2010 form, it was obvious we are a treadmil team. 2nd round exit tops.

We just need to hope Melo doesn't royally **** us over and leave next summer, and that we hit jackpot in the free agency with all the capspace we'll have.

Pretty decent off season. But I said the same thing last season.

None of the moves they made are going to contain Paul George or Roy Hibbert.

as long as they have Melo the Chucker as first option they'll never win a title

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Anthony: FG: .449 3P .379 RPG 6.9 AST 2.6

James: FG: .565 3P .406 RPG 8.0 AST 7.3

Anthony is probably a better post player, James a much superior defender

James still at another level

Who wouldn't want a 6'8" point-forward?

What's the comparison here?
