Metta World Peace Appreciation Thread

The most multitalented of all NBA stars: celebrated children's writer and author of Metta's Bedtime Stories: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...dies-out-there

successful alternative career as a weatherman:

Quote:
“Nash should do a Vegas magic show,” the Lakers forward said. “They should put his picture on the Flamingo hotel with a picture of him posing spinning the ball with his tongue out. There could be a bunch of strippers around him naked covering themselves with a hat.”

trolls the stupid US media with fake news:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/ey...ns-for-tv-show

awesome interview:

twitter:
Quote:
"It's so cool. I'm at my racist friend house for dinner. I'm converting him. He is eating watermelon and fried chicken
a compilation of his words of wisdom:

twitter:

Quote:
Played pickup bball against an 8 year old today. Beat him 47-1. I teabagged him so many times I nicknamed him Earl Gray!
Metta World Peace was asked if Steve Nash is the smartest player on the Lakers: “He’s white, so probably yes"

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Isn't he the guy who ran into the bleachers to get involved in a mini barney in the stands of a Pacers game?

I am happy he is hurting the lakers by opting into his contract.I dont like him one bit though, the below video says it all on him.

What I find funny most, him predicting lakers to go 73 - 9 this season lol ( http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ba...7706--nba.html )

Quote:
"We definitely want to beat the Bulls record and go 73-9, that's definitely something that I want to do. Whoever is out there at the beginning of the season then we gotta get it. It's as simple as that. We just have to go get it. [Host: So that Bulls record is something you're thinking about?] No question. You try to snatch records before you leave this earth. You gotta try to do a lot of great things so it's definitely a goal. With Dwight Howard, [Steve] Nash, Kobe [Bryant], myself, Pau [Gasol] and then [Antawn] Jamison and a lot of great additions, it's something that's possible."

@MettaWorldPeace: I had a great time here in LA!!
Love you guys.. You are truly amazing.
I have some news!!!

And then ...

Quote:
Metta World Peace has decided to not use his early termination option and will stay with the Los Angeles Lakers next season for $7.7 million.

World Peace had considered opting out to become a free agent as the Lakers enter an offseason of uncertainty.

The Lakers could user their amnesty on World Peace

I'm defiantly looking forward to him with the Knicks. He should provide some support for Melo. Melo won't have to drain his energy on defense, which opens up his offense some more.

Knicks still need a point guard and a backup center. Felton is fat and inconsistent. Prigs is small. Tyson Chandler turned into a woman.
