Memphis Grizzlies road to the NBA title

best defensive team in the league and 2 monsters in Gasol and Randolph under the basket. they'll almost past the Clippers now and should see off Thunder in the next round who has lost their ninja turtle PG star. Might be trickier in the conference final where they probably face Spurs (who they drew 2-2 in the regular season with two of those games being overtime thrillers). But I'd consider them slight favourites even there.

against the Heat I think their chances are good...all the pressure is on Heat and LeBron who will probably choke. and Heat lacks power in the paint.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Andy, did you know you're a Yankophile?

You're worse than Jeff, Marie and myself combined.

Without it gravity is just gravy.

I don't really see the connection...I've watched basketball since I was a kid, it is pretty much the national sport here. And NBA is the best basketball league.

Mike Conley will have to go to the two bigs as much as possible. Hopefully no bullshit injuries if they do get that far as the Heats barely have any competition as it already is.

The closest guy to a paint guy the Heat have is James, but he's not a true low post scorer, he's still a small forward who relies on that athletic drive.

Thunder tomorrow will be a hell of a series. But I guess Randolph will finally find his kryptonite in Ibaka.

Lol, No. Ibaka is a good help side defender, he's not a good man on man defender. If they put Ibaka on ZBo, they will get killed. But if they put Ibaka on Gasol and ask him to help off Gasol, it could work. Perkins is anyway OKC best post defender and he can't guard ZBo. His best bet is to get in a fight with ZBo.

They won't get passed the Spurs imo.

Yeah I doubt the Spurs would lose 2x in a row to them. One interesting thing is no Rudy Gay this time, on the other hand the Spurs are healthy, back to shape, and the rotation looks competent.

Rudy Gay was injured the last time as well. Grizzlies = better without Rudy Gay.

Yeah lost by 2 points while Durant had to play a near perfect 4th quarter to save OKC's chances. :rollani: Memphis still a clear favourite to win the series, they looked like the better team.

Lost by the smallest margin against by far the best team in the league. No shame in that.

well they're not the best team anymore of course after Westbrook's injury...the win was there for the taking for Memphis, they controlled most of the game. tough result but overall a positive performance by them.

Grizzlies should have taken that one actually.

They should have been more focused in the last quarter and better plan the last two offensive plays.

Nevertheless, this promises to be a decent series.

Lazio midfield 1999: ** Nedved - Veron - Simeone - Conceicao

Lazio midfield, 13.12.2009: ** Kolarov - Firmani - Del Nero - Lichtsteiner
