Nerlens Noel breaks his kneee

He was predicted to be a top 3 draft pick in this summer, possibly even the first pick...one of the greatest defensive prospects for a long time who was a magnificently effective blocker (even though he was pretty poor on the offensive end). But now it's not even certain he can ever play again.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? He's a great defensive prospect, but definitely not "in a long time".

Just last season Kentucky had Anthony Davis, the #1 pick who was a beast blocking shots.

Anyway, hope he isn't out for too long. Kentucky's season looks like it got from bad to worst.

I wonder how it'll effect his draft position? Maybe he'll stay an extra year.

The details of the injury are not officially released yet but there's some "insider" information it's a ruptured patella tendon which is a catastrophic type of injury...not only will it mean he won't enter draft this year but he might never play again. It was the type of injury which ended Greg Oden's career.

Horrible injury. This probably gonna lead to arguement on the 1 year in college rule. Surely this guy would have had takers if he had declared straight for the NBA. Now he's probably gonna never play in the NBA, and lost a shit load of dollars.

Part of the problem is a lot of these guys like Oden, Noel, don't eat healthy. If they had better nutrition, diets, etc. when they were a lot younger these things wouldn't happen to them. Sucks. Oh well.

well he was still picked 6th by the Pelicans who then traded him to Sixers...was touted as the 1st pick even after the injury but apparently there were some red flags in the medical tests and dropped to 6th unexpectedly.

And now it seems he might miss the entire rookie season?

Then again Sixers is firmly on the tank route so they are unlikely to hurry him back anyway...

They'll win just about 15 and get a top four pick next year.
