Lebron James vs Michael Jordan

Lets discuss in depth, not the stanko way of throwing one liner bashing the current era + lebron. I think unlike Jordan , Lebron is playing in tougher era vs stronger oponents.I dont think in this days bball Jordan would average more then 30. Now I am clueless on 1990's basketball, because I always found it boring and never tuned in. I found it weak, and defensive teams like new york werent that defensively good like the celtics with KG of last few years.

Jordan is great, I think he is better scorer ( clutch, efficient etc)..But Lebron is better in other things.He is more versatile defender, can defend all 4 positions and play offensively on all 5 positions.He can do just about everything, the most complete player I seen.


Now, I know many of you will laugh at me and this thread.But I am huge Lebron fan and I think he deserves to be put there next to jordan or even higher depending how his career goes next few years.

An alcoholic drinking beer bellied Paul Pierce in his thirties gave LeBron a lot of problems during LeBron's prime. Sure LeBron won most of their bouts but that's still something consider.

Michael Jordan had college experience which alone is great enough to destroy guys like Bryant, James, etc. Jordan himself admits today's generation is ridiculously athletic (Think James, Griffin, Howard etc. however the college experience would help them come up with plays to stop these kinds of players especially players like LeBron who lack that kind of experience which is why someone less athletic and a little fat like Paul Pierce is able to compete with him.

The whole thread is ridiculous but LeBron being a better defender than Jordan, alm:.

LeBron hate is over the top, no doubt. But so are his fanboys. Just shut up. Let LeBron do what he can and then judge later. At this point of time comparing him to Jordan is asking to be ridiculed.

Cevapcici kid,you know Miami fans are one of wisest in the NBA. I am trying to be logical. I have admitted to being clueless on 1990's basketball, but seriously if you add duncan garnett howard instead of love chandler and caramelo overrated anthony...dont u see this team can match with 1992 team?

As is, I admit 1992 to beat them... as ewing robinson barkley malone would destroy completly the current frontcourt... but if u add duncan, garnett i say they have a shot.

Duncan and Garnett are on fumes, they are both 36. And both are power forwards, not true centers. Barkley and Malone were both 28-29, at their peaks. Not to mention Robinson and Ewing.

Speaking of players that didn't make it. Hakeem, Shaq, Rodman, Isaiah, Dumars, Miller etc. All Hall of Famers.
